Ok so like most people I read the reviews before going on holiday & was honestly worried about what we'd booked up for...... No need to worry at all!

On arrival to the hotel my first impressions were good- the reception staff are friendly & helpful & we were given our room in the main building- small & basic but when it's just for sleeping it's all you need.

The rooms were cleaned every day & the food was ok- (had better but that's my only criticism)

There wasn't many English there but everyone's entitled to have a holiday & were friendly towards each other regardless of language differences.

I honestly can't understand why people have slated this hotel. It's a 3* so don't expect the best- it's basic but exactly what we, a family of four with two young boys wanted!

Also, the mini disco was a massive hit with our children- they loved the songs & dance routines every night!

I would recommend this hotel- it was very close to the beach & local bus stops.

this hotel is exactly what is on offer when you go a little out of season and a little under a reasonable budget. the service from the waiters at poolside was terrible, you could only use certain inside facilities at night because most of the hotel was shut down and if you used the inside bar you had to pay even if you was all inclusive. our hotel block had no concierge for the whole week we was there it was like a ghost block.we went in april so it was not quite the open season but the hotel is trying to grab any euros going. the first day there we could not find a bank so we decided to change some money at the main desk in the hotel 'DO NOT DO THIS! they gave us an exchange rate of one euro to one pound even though the exchange rate at the time was about 1.20, but even that rip off was surpassed by what happened when we checked out we paid for our safe in sterling (£20) but was given our deposit back in euros.....so ripped off again, when we asked to be paid in sterling they told us that they do not hold on to other currencies. the hotels food was very good and the dining staff were friendly, which is a lot more than can be said for the other workers in the hotel. its cheap, but cheap should not always compromise attitude, you are paying for a service and you are entitled to be treated with a modicum of respect and likewise you don't rubbish the staff because its a cheap holiday, its a 2 way street......but! when you are treated like a second class citizen on a beano instead of a holiday maker who may only get away once a year then thats when its wrong. this hotel has no respect unless you are paying top dollar and they let you know it, they fleece you at every oppotunity and generally make you feel un-welcome, i would not go back to this hotel......avoid!

Room tip: if you want quiet, get the furthest away from the pool areas as possible and try to get a balcony without a tree in front of it.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in July with 2 pre-school age children. It is in a good location close to the beach & promenade (although the hotel is situated at the top of a hill). The rooms were clean with maid service every day. There was several swimming pools to choose from (including a children's pool), a nice play park & a mini-disco for the children in the evenings. The food was ok although not as much choice as we've had in other hotels (although the quality of food varied depending on which restaurant you were allocated). There is an Oriental Restaurant which you can book to go to which served nicer evening meals. The hotel was extremely busy as you would expect over the summer holidays & guests were mainly large groups of young German's who had come to party all day & night. I would recommend taking ear plugs to help you sleep! At this time of year it is more suited to young adults rather than families. The most disapointing thing for us was that my daughters talking Peppa Pig toy was stolen from our room during the daytime - presumably by a maid. We reported this to the hotel but it was a total waste of time. Overall it is a nice cheap & cheerful hotel

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room when checking in

The rooms and hotel was clean. However the hotel had bought hotels outside if the facilities and thrm hitels were using all thr pools and restaurants therefore it was overcrowded and not enough facilities for the amount of people who were there. It was very noise as the German bkys would come back at 3am in the morning chsnting football songs, waking up everyone.

Ok, so after booking the Palma bay club resort i made the mistake of coming on trip advisor and reading the reviews of the hotel which i regretted straight away! Most were very negative! I was at this point worrying about our week away that was fast approaching!
So, we booked for one week in August for family of 4, kids aged 4 & 2. On arrival we checked in and got given room in the Hawaii building on first floor which i had requested as worried with young children on balcony!
Room was clean and and had clean bedding and towels. Fine view of pool area. Bathroom wasnt massive but was all we needed. Room had safe which we used for week at cost of €38 of which €20 was refunded at end of holiday! Rooms had air con also which was a blessing as it was very hot the week we were there.
5 pools which we used but mainly stuck to the childrens pool! All pools were clean and staff were always clearing up so was never dirty!
Hotel shop was open 24hrs a day n had good range of stuff!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner all had excellent choices and was good choices for kids!
They had a bbq daily from 1230 - 3pm usually paella and also a pizza bar at same times which were excellent! The hotel also had a snack bar which was great for the kids during the day to grab a wee bite to eat!
The alcohol was all inclusive which was until 2300 and good choice! They had 4 choices of cocktail you could choose from also! Plenty of beer on tap and choice of help yourself to coke, fanta etc, slushies which the kids loved and tea, coffee etc!
The hotel did have a large majority of german and french guests and lots of young groups however they did not once give us any problems or concerns!
The daily entertainment wasnt all that good! The kids disco every night lasted for 30 mins and they seemed to enjoy it and the entertainers were great with the kids! After that they had bingo and then usually a singer or something that wasnt that fab but we ended up taking a Walk down in to the main resort which was a 5 min walk down hill and was very lively!
The beach was also great and very busy! We also took a bus ride in to Palma which cost the 4 of us €3 and would highly recommend doing this!!
Overall a great holiday! Hotel we would say is a good 3 star and as long as your not wanting a quiet relaxing holiday away from young people on stag/hen dos or families with young kids then u will be fine! We had a great time x

Room tip: We stayed in the hawaii building and had a nice room with nice pool view. I believe the copacabana building was the quieter area too
