We reserved a table the day before & when we went back the next day they remembered us . The head waiter showed us to our table, seated us with that fine etiquette you get in good class restaurant. Had no problem ordering our drinks or meal. Might seem old fashioned now but we still like prawn cocktail & this must be the biggest and freshest one we have ever had. The steaks were cooked just the way we like them. This always seems a task in a lot of restaurants down to the chef though. We had our meal in the upper restaurant. There was a lady playing a piano which was nice. Cafe Ola is situated not far from the Casino.
Views are stunning overlooking the sea and the lower restaurant. Nice touch they do when your sitting in the open air part of the restaurant they will give you a wrap to put round your shoulders as it starts to get chilly late on.
We then went downstairs after our meal. There is very chilled out atmosphere down there & very comfy with lots of sofa's, low lighting, belly dancers for entertainment. There's a small pool too.
This is the bad point I'm afraid and the reason why Cafe Ola didn't get 5 stars. The service in the lower bar area is very poor & does take too long with no apology for the delay. Needs sorting out as many other reviewers are saying the same.
So would go back definitely for a meal as it has a special quality & hope the lower bar area improves or they will loose money and reputation.
