From some of the reviews on this site, our expectations weren’t too great; however we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of our room.
It contained a refrigerator and hob which looked new.
From the skip outside there was refurbishment work underway perhaps we were the beneficiary of this.
The only downside was the lack of any air conditioning and whilst we had the window open and given our visit was in late October /November it was stifling; just can’t imagine what it would be like in the height of summer!
We know there were complaints about the food and although we only had daily breakfast, we can’t compliment them enough. You won’t find a better Full English Breakfast even in England; excellent ingredients, well cooked and presented!
The staff at every level were so helpful and courteous.
After reading some of the reviews I felt we were obliged to add our tenpenny worth; overall we were extremely pleased and talking to others they seemed happy too!
All I can say if they installed aircon then it would be perfect low cost hotel in close proximity to the town which in our view was the best resort on the island. Give it a try!

Room Tip: With the lack of air conditioning we would suggest requesting a room with windows front and rear so...

i always read the reviews but never listen 2 most of them but maybe i should have as i will never be going back 2 this hotel ! well we arrived at 4 in the afternoon and my children hadnt eaten so asked if i could get them something expecting to go 2 the pool bar 2 find out they only give u sandwiches ! no thanks , thats the first all inclusive ive stayed in where u dont get chips , burgers etc allday !
the room was ok spacious but my children had 2 sleep in the living room on a settee with wooden arms so was very uncomftable for him as hes 6ft we got a cleaner after 3 days well dint change the sheets and left 1 toilet roll for 4 people so had 2 go buy some so was grateful when we had 2 move rooms as are bath flooded the kitchen but they wanted us 2 move rooms at 12 at night told them no way ! well we get our new room out the back of the hotel and when i mean out the back its literally out the back but least it had 2 rooms which pleased my son but was full of ants nests! one thing i will say is my TOWELS didnt smell thank god!
pool area was ok needs updating alot especially the inside room but franklin was great with the kids
FOOD breakfast was ok so was dinner, tea was basic if u love chips or spaggetti bolognaise u will be ok , we ate and drank out the 2weeks of being there so if u do stay here take a trip to the highlander too its a lovely friendly bar and they dont great affordable food , the staff are brillant and make u so welcome ! will definately be going back 2 lanzarote but not this hotel !

The hotel its self is OK apart from all the steps we were lucky to have a ground floor apartmemt & the only steps we had to use were to & from the pool/snack bar, the snack bar part is a joke all you can get are cheese & ham sandwiches which you dont know are there unless you hear someone asking for them, that leads me to the food the first few days were OK but then it went down hill fast, we had Spag Bol every day & it looked as if it had been there for the whole 2 weeks & each day the meet in it got less & less we did have some OK meals & we didnt starve.
We were all inclusive, if you decide to use this hotel & are not leaving until after 10am make sure you save enough money to buy yourselves something to eat because the breakfast finishes at 10am & your all inclusive stops at 12noon no matter what time you are leaving that day & you have got no chance of getting anything out b ecause the girls on duty are like prison officers stoping you from taking even a bit on cheese. the reception staff & bar staff are very good & very helpfull & the place is very clean. The beds are rather hard, my friend sleept on the day bed in the living room & had a good sleep on that. we did enjoy our holiday but dont think we will be going back to the Los Fiscos

Room Tip: Try & get one on the ground floor away from the pool area

There is not an abundance of positives to write about these apartments but if you are not expecting much then there will be less to be disappointed with!
We stayed on an all inclusive basis in the last 2 weeks of October. It was the first time we had gone all inclusive in Lanzarote and it will be the last as there is a plethora of amazing restaurants to visit in Puerto Del Carmen and other parts of the island.
The all inclusive is very typically Spanish with all the restrictions you would expect with a few more added in.
There is only one restaurant and one bar. The bar is beside the pool and serves very basic drinks. Beer (San Miguel) wine, vodka, white rum and some very disappointing cocktails. We ordered piña coladas one day and they were made with fizzy pineapple juice! Tequila sunrise' are made with fizzy orange juice!
The food is also very basic and very repetitive. We ended up eating out most of the time so I would advise going either self catering or on a bed and breakfast basis if you want to stay here.
All food and drink must be consumed in the restaurant. We tried to take some fruit out for lunch one day as we were heading to another part of the island and were stopped and instructed that it was "not possible" when I asked why, I was told again it was "not possible"! Not a great explanation from the very glum waiter! I foolishly mistook all inclusive as being everything included. Not the case with this hotel.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, room 201, which had an adjoining studio apartment. The adjoining apartment was occupied by another couple and the door separating the 2 apartments was locked and the keyhole covered with a plaster! Obviously some failed attempt to give a sense of privacy!! The couple may as well have been staying in the same apartment for all the noise they were making! Not their fault, just poor soundproofing.
On the plus side we had a sea view and it was a perfect sun trap for those times you wanted to sit on the balcony.
There is no air con in the rooms which didn't bother me too much as at that time of year it was not needed but I could imagine that during the peak summer months it would be unbearable. Fans can be hired from reception. Again, you would expect these things to be included if you are all inclusive!
Overall I enjoyed my time in Lanzarote as its what you make of it but I wouldn't return to these apartments. I feel they could do a lot more to make accommodate their customers and the service staff seem very miserable and do not make an effort which makes you feel uncomfortable at times!
I will give praise to Franklin though. He was the only one who seemed to enjoy his job and made us feel at home every time he was on.

the rooms are clean but very basic and the beds are so uncomfortable that we would have a sleep on the sun bed everyday to catch up. the breakfast and lunch was fine but the evening meal very poor no choice at all it was same every night if you like chips and more chips then its for you we eat out every evening but the taxi fare back to the hotel was very good at 3 euros as you will need your hiking boots if you decide to walk back and like walking up hills as its fair distance to the main shopping area.

The rooms look nothing like the photos, very basic and need updated. There were ants all over the main room, and the bathroom mirror was rusted. I got an electric shock from the lamp in our room as the wires were not properly in and were sticking out. About 20 minutes away from the main shopping area, as well as at the top of a hill! Food was basic and always had the same almost every day, the dining room staff were rude and never had a smile on there face. Cleaners came in once during my stay and on the second day there was a mattress at my door. However, the pool area was nice enough and the bar man Franklin was amazing! Was okay for a few days stay but would not return.

Its noisy and the pool areas not very big, we were self catering so can't comment on the food if u r self catering u best pack your kitchen the has nothing! And if u like walking up hills your ok it is a good distance from main strip and main shops!
