A lovely friendly resort . Good variety of apartments. 3 lovely swimming pools, although one is very small. Staff are hard working and make the place very welcoming. Water and milk in fridge on arrival and a very good small shop is to be found in the Leisure Centre on site. Many items in the shop are more reasonably priced than in the local supermarkets. Sun bed cushions have to be rented from reception and pool towels from the Leisure Centre. The pools are surrounded by good quality sun shades. The 2 restaurants often take turns to open and provide excellent food, mainly English style. A few more Spanish dishes on the menu would be nice. A very safe resort for children. High standards. We loved our 3 weeks there and are already looking forward to returning next year. Sadly we are always approached by the sales team who can be over persistent . They should not give their sales pitch on the restaurant terraces but do their presentations in their own spacious offices.

I don't know for the life of me how anyone can give this place a negatives review just returned after another great two weeks on the resort. 12/13 Met some new guests and lots of old friends. The new skylight was a pleasant surprise, so well done to everyone concerned. Just one small comment, I think the stage area should have been at the other end of the room to give more room around the bar, this would allow more people to go inside rather than stand by the doors! There are various options of how to eat and although we did not take advantage of the meal deals they are very good value for money, we did eat quite a lot on site though as there is no reason to go off site. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday one to remember once again. See you all next year! Not sure why there is a independant sales team on site though!! We were there two week and no-one came to see us so I suppose we may have been lucky!!

Room Tip: If you are not happy with your allocated room then I suggest you ask to be moved if something else i...

My wife, friends and I have stayed here many times and still enjoy our holidays to Las Calas. The staff as ever can't do enough for you although we were disappointed to find 361 bar closed during the day 3 times during our stay, this is not good. I note from a previous reviewer a complaint that she had to pay a utility charge whilst owners receive a bar voucher in rebate whilst non owners or exchangers do not receive this, well I for one feel that as a non owner the charge is fair , owners pay an annual maintenance fee and should not be subsidising non owners who keep returning as guests and pay no maintenance. We will return and continue to enjoy the resort.

We stayed here a few years ago on another timeshare swap and had a great time. So when we were looking for a break away we chose here again.

On arrival we were disappointed with our allocated apartment in Calas 2 ground floor near to reception, in the short time we were sat in it everyone passing by looked in.Would have been great for infirmed persons or elderly . Also looked as though the patio wouldn't get much sun. We hadn't unpacked so went back to reception who were great with us and allocated 347, a south facing first floor overlooking the pool in Calas 3.

Staff were great in both bars and the new Skyline bar was great for happy hour. We dined twice in the 361 restaurant and had good meals both times.

Weather was glorious while Britain was under foot of snow !! We were so lucky to be there. Would recommend this place and will go back again ourselves sometime.

Room Tip: First floor rooms south facing had the sun all day. We had 347

we have stayed at las calas as rci exchange or rental guests many times over the last few years we have just returned from a two week stay. There has been a high turnover of staff in both the bars and restaurants in the last year the staff there now seemed to be working under a great deal of pressure due to the recent restaurants upgrades.the resort has recently introduced a 15 euro per week "utility" charge which only exchange and rental guests pay? as the owners get there money back in the form of a 15 euro discount voucher to be used in any of the restaurants i feel as a non owner i am paying a levy towards the up keep of the resort,if a utility charge is made it should be paid by every one or think of a better way to get the owners to spend more money in the resorts bars and restaurants (not just the happy hour) having got that off my chest still love the island of lanzarote and will be back again.

Arriving late in the evening we were ready for a good rest after traveling all day, the room we were given was on the rear ground floor corner with a weiw of a big white wall in front of us. The bedroom had two small single beds, more suitable for children and very few drawers.
Hardly had we been there ten minutes when another couple arrived also been given the same
allocation, so that was yet another delay in settling in but got sorted out and at last unpacked.
Because of the position a lot of people passing by and a inconsiderate above us,we didn't sleep too good. On the whole we could not fault the rest of the stay and if we returned we would be happier with a first floor appartment overlooking the pool with a double bed if that could be guaranteed.

Room Tip: Rooms on ground floors are subject to noise and no views

We have just returned from a week in Lanzarote staying at this timeshare owned by a relative. I was struck by the efficiency of all staff. We had a problem with our safe door and the maintenance man arrived within five minutes to sort it out. Every time we went to reception the staff were on hand to advise.
Our apartment was right beside one of the pools and it was quiet and secluded. Everyone on the site was friendly.
On the day of departure rooms have to be vacated by ten o clock but you can leave your case in a secure luggage room if your flight is later in the day. Again the system is very efficient.
My only gripe concerns the gym which was not well equipped and had to paid for.
