Lovely hotel block - I remember people commenting on how nice the place was when we got dropped off by the shuttle bus. We did have to wait around an hour and half for the bus at the airport and was later told that it's only around 15 euros to the Hotel in a taxi.

Food was okay. Breakfast was the best and I often used the microwave as the food was only warm, not a great deal of choice either but eatable.

Sunbed situation is silly! Have to be queuing at 8.30am for a sunbed. We only did this one day and spent the other days venturing out. Often come 3.30pm there were spare beds and the sun usually stays out until 7pm when the pool closes so you can manage to get a couple of hours sunbathing.

Teguise market on a Sunday is worth a visit. We caught the coach/bus about a 10min walk from the Hotel, it was 3 euro each. The market is open from 10am till 2pm.

Playa Blanca market is also worth a visit, reception can direct you to the bus... Nice harbour to walk around too.

We struggled to find good places in the evening, no entertainment in the Hotel so had to venture out. We did find a karaoke bar called Tito's which was okay and sold cocktails at 7 euro for 2.

Overall we had a good time and met some lovely people, not sure I will be returning to Lanzarote but really just on the basis that there isn't a great deal to do...

Stayed here from 28th June for 2 weeks, arrived at around 10pm and therefore missed dinner and were informed that a cold buffet would be provided in our rooms, however there was no sign of this. Rooms were clean and spacious, maids would come in to clean everyday without fail. One tip however would be when booking ask not to be placed in Block A, you have no view at all. Food during the first week was fantastic but this quickly deteriorated throughout the second week, although there was always a good selection and you could almost always find something edible. As many others have mentioned, sun beds are in short supply and many people leave towels on beds all day and never turn up to use them. There's no entertainment at night during July and August and the bar closes at 11. Bar staff also take a dislike to you finishing your drinks after 11, and often decide to just turn the lights off on you. We went out every night after 11 and the best bar to go to is 'The Big Easy'. Drinks can be a little expensive but the staff in there are friendly and the live music band 'Question' are easily the best on the Island. If you want to party or go clubbing there's not an awful lot of choice but I'd say the best place to go to is 'Nikki Beach'.

Stayed in the hibiscos with my boyfriend ( both 22) from 3rd - 10th July and had a very pleasant stay here! Rooms were bigger than expected and kept very clean! Grounds around the apartment were also spotless! Pool area was too small for the size of hotel and getting sunbeds was always a challenge! Queuing from 8am is not ideal and your not guarenteed to get any! Food was edible and only had 2 nights we struggled and had to eat out! Breakfast was always nice! No entertainment in hotel at all so always ventured down to the 'strip' at night which was highly disappointing! Very little bars with next to no entertainment and drinks prices were through the roof! Overall hotel was fine but would not return to lanzarote as too quiet for a young couple!

Before I have a rant the staff were all lovely and the place wasn't that bad but with it being all inclusive you don't think you will need much spending money..... The food for me was really bad, I am picky at the best of times but it wasn't labelled so no idea what half of it was anyway. The snacks at the pool bar were on short supply and either a choice of stale goods left over from breakfast or pizza if they can get away with calling it that or a hot dog- burger in a stale bread roll. So not great as you need to eat out to stay alive.
The sunbed situation is funny! Its like a military operation running to get a bed but lucky for us we only needed 2 next to each other but if you need a few you have to speed up. Deffo go down to the gate by the kids park as its unlocked and you can get in first. Made some fab friends which made the holiday memorable but wouldn't go back to this hotel again.
all inclusive finishes at 12pm on your last day so then for the next 6hours we had to buy drinks and food so go out instead of staying on the hotel grounds.
Very close to the beach which made it a great location.

Room Tip: All the rooms I would say have a pool view but try to get the 3rd or 4th floor to see the sea.

We have just returned from lanzarote after 2 weeks at los hibiscus .The apartments are large and kept very clean. We were in block A which was furthest from the restaurant. We were on 4th floor. The lift broke 3 times so had to use steps which was a nightmare. The food first week was not to bad but second week not good at all..All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The swimming pool opened at 9 oclock then all hell broke out as people ran for beds.People waited in line from before 8 because there is not enough beds. There are 3 gates but the one on the far side is not locked so the people that side get in first .We even saw people jump the gates. We met some fantastic people but would not return .There are to many steps .There was a hen party and stag party .One of the females was in pool with nothing on . Think they were having competition who could use the F- - - word the most.

Room Tip: high floor
