went on the 4 hour wine tour of LA Geria on Friday and what a memorable day it was. I arrived at the shop and was set up with an electric assisted bike. I am an experienced leisure cyclist but have not been on a bike much since I cycled with the blazing saddles group in Ireland some 19 years ago. There was a lady a few years my senior and also the tour guide Mick.We headed off towards the rancho Texas roundabout and then towards Puerto Calero via el torro. what a difference it made with the assist as I was able to maintain 14kms up the hill towards the town of Uga and we had a very strong headwind. We arrived at one winery and had a coffee there and then proceeded to the Suarez winery up the road a little further. Needless to say we were treated to refreshments. Then we went up a little more and in at the Conil area and freewheeled most of the way down to Carmen, following the harbour and back along the seafront. I have to say I remembered that on the bike you see so much more than being in a vehicle and now it has rekindled my desire to cycle once more. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and there are tour distances for all levels. Mick did a great job with road direction and I will definitely be back again to try some other tours. Best of luck with the tours Mick
