We stayed for a week in October. There were some positives about this hotel such as it's in a great location for easy access to the strip, beach and old town. The apartments are large and ours opened out onto the pool. The pool and sun terrace were beautifully landscaped. The pool bar had a great range of drinks, nice food and friendly staff. However the negatives by far outweighed the positives. Most of the apartments had been redecorated but ours had not, it was tired and shabby. You were expected to pay the same despite your room not being of the same standard. The pool area did not open until 10am which was useless for an early riser like myself. You couldn't even sunbath before this time as the sunbeds were chained up! The beautiful sun terrace was closed and locked up before the sunset, which seemed a bit pointless. The pool is not heated as advertised and there is no air conditioning. You had to pay extra for everything, wifi, safe, tv, kettle, and toaster. By which time you were now down at least 50 euros (some of which is returned at the end of your stay). On check out day we had been told we could probably get a late check out (for an extra fee of course) as we had an evening flight home. However on the day we were told this was not possible due to the hotel being very busy and all the guests arriving early. I found it hard to believe there was nothing they could do considering the room next to ours had been empty all week however we accepted this. We enquired about luggage storage and showers to be told the luggage was left just inside the front door where anyone could steal it and there were no showering facilities. We spent the day in the hot sun by our old room, the cleaners did not appear to clean it until 15.30!!!! I was so angry that we had been forced to check out at 11am despite me being pregnant. To sum up I feel the staff were very unfriendly, unhelpful and at times rude( with the exception of the bar staff who were great) and you felt as if you were there to fit in with their timetable not that they were there to meet the needs of the customer. I advise people to avoid this hotel, such a shame as the place has such potential.

Room Tip: If you do decide to stay here request a room which has been redecorated and opens onto the pool.

The hotel is situated on a very, very steep hill (locally known as 'cardiac hill')!! Staff were abrupt on arrival but the lady improved with time. Room was basic but ok. The room was clean and the cleaning staff were polite. However Room 201 is right above the pool/bar room which the staff used as there staff room sometimes until gone 2am in the morning. The bar staff played very load music that was their own choice and guests very rarely used this area. The bar staff were ignorant on the couple of times we used it. The lighting in the rooms is very poor. The shower was broken on arrival but was mended very quickly as was the light bulb in the kitchen. We will not be returning as the whole staff / noise experience spoiled it. We also complained twice about the noise to the security guard at 2am who did nothing. On another occasion at 6.30am 3 drunken guests gave us verbal abuse when we asked them to be quiet and again the security guard did nothing. DO NOT GO TO THESE APARTMENTS!!!

Room Tip: As far away from the reception as possible

we stayed here 15th to 22nd oct 2013 we had room 231 it was dark and very tatty when you opened the back doors you faced a wall it reminded me off a yard was not a pleasant view at all you had to hire kettle toaster fan 8 euros each for the week however swimming pool and the viewing areas were lovely these apartments are up a very steep hill as described i wolud say its more like a ski slope the apartments are central for everything and did enjoy my holiday however i think they need to spend some money on the inside of the apatments

Room Tip: if i stayed here again i would ask for a sea view room as these looked alot brighter and none of them had walls at the back

Dear guest,

We are very grateful for your contribution, and for having named the aspects that you do like, and those that you do not. Well, concerning the views, not all the rooms can have the same view, as it is logical; but you can make a request for the characteristics that you wish to have.

We are looking forward to receiving you again. Best wishes.

Positive: it's very close to beach and main strip. Evening receptionist from S.A. Very friendly & helpful, nice pool.
Negative: old, run down, extra for kettle, extra for toaster, extra for TV , extra for view, extra to move rooms. When you add it up you would double the rate so you'd actually be paying close to a four star beach front rate.

I was trapped in the bathroom for 40 mins because of a faulty lock. Sent my 66year old mum for help, she was given a paper clip to pick the lock, no one came.

Roof over our balcony broken, ready to collapse, building rubble outside front door and lots of steps. We asked about moving, guy was a bit rude, said there was no point as all the rooms have the same locks. When I said I would leave he rang maintenance in Spanish and told them not to bother fixing it.

Luckily he agreed to refund the remaining days of my stay, but no refund or even good will gesture for my first two days. I was glad to get away to a new apt 2 blocks behind, where I got a two bed apt with pool view and all extras free for one third of the price less per night.

Pictures on website misleading, glad to get out of there, would not recommend.
