We rented villa Neptune one of the 3 bedroom villas part of club oceana apartments in puerto del carmen for 2 weeks from 26 June and had a fab time.
The villa was exactly as described, very spacious and clean. The pool was a hit with our two children who loved splashing around. The kitchen was well stocked, could perhaps have slightly more utensils such as potato peeler and grater and knives could do with sharpening, but apart from that it was great.
The location is good too as only a 10 min stroll from the old town and only 3 euros in a taxi back if you can't be bothered with the walk. The villa was peaceful and quiet and we slept brilliantly until 10 am every morning. Would definitely recommend this villa and would definitely return.

We went on July 14th, so wasn't to busy. The accommodation was very easy to get to from the airport. Jumped into a taxi which cost roughly 16 euro's.
We we're on a later flight, so arrived when the reception was shut.
We made our way around to the bar that was on site and could not have got a more friendly greeting.
Nearly all of the staff are british, so there is no misunderstanding's with language.
We we're in room 39 that was near the road.
The only noise we heard was from the dustmen in the morning.
They we're there less than 5 mins, so not a problem..
The staff we're absolutely fantastic, and so polite every day.
We have done self catering many times, but this is the best so far.
The accommodation is up a hill, but then most of Lanzarote is the same.
We used the accommodation for food and drink through the day, which was very good and well priced,
There was two pools and one spa pool.
One pool is fairly deep , where as the other one is ideal for young children.
The food in the town again was well priced and very good to eat
We booked this accommodation through laterooms.com, but it works out cheaper if you book direct, or on their website.
Most of the holiday makers stopping there we're returning customers.
Would we return ?
We are already planning to go back, as this is one of the best places we have stayed.
The staff made this holiday, as well as the location and weather

Room Tip: rooms 39,40 corner. Theses rooms are always re booked. I think 2,4 are the other that are booked regular

Of course you have to remember - this is a complex.
Many of these structures were built in the 1980's when Puerto Del Carmen became very aware of the need for beds to cope with boom in the tourist trade. Because of building regs., apartments were built on top of one another, little add-ons were made and all connected with lots of groups of stairs - that was then, this is now and I'm afraid, like many others, Club Oceano has not moved on at all.
Of course there is still a very big family base, but equally important these days is the financial effect of the older groups and you know, us oldies, we don't do the stairs so well these days so a few well placed ramps would make a great deal of difference.
The accommodation itself is adequate if a bit dated - nothing a decent review couldn't put right - I would change the mattresses - the swimming pool is heated, just..., there are plenty of sunbeds, but there was an unfortunate occurrence most afternoons for an hour or so when for some reason local ex-pats call in with their children, and others, to meet family staying here on holiday. It's like a kindergarten for a while and a bit tiresome.
Room service is excellent and maintenance of the complex cannot be faulted as the staff are on the go all day.
Positioned where it is, there are supermarkets close by and a walk to the seafront, albeit down hill, is only five minutes away. Should you venture out in the evenings, taxis home from the Old Town for example, are only 5 euros max., and all the drivers know the complex.
One complaint - there are two large screen TV's in the bar which on Sunday afternoons blast out the Football of the day shattering the tranquil atmosphere......be fair, there's a bar just around the corner, go and watch it there!
Would we go back again, yes, if they attend to the steps and look at their pricing - it's cheaper online than it is on their own site.

We are hooked and keep going back. Would struggle to fault this holiday. Key reasons include: transfer time from airport so short and easy (taxi 10 mins), walking distance to shops, beach, crazy golf, boat trips, old town and restaurants or take aways (especially Chinese 5 mins walk away on hill down to beach), staff unbelievably friendly and helpful, bar and food (especially cooked breakfast with proper bacon and sausage - not greasy), gorgeous clean pool & outdoor jacuzzi, small enough to meet other families and its not noisy, you can always get sunbed by pool (& parasol) shower room with loo near outdoor pool, despite being near busy sea front, set back just enough to mean its quiet. I could go on but if you ar a family with children aged between 0 and 10 and looking for stress free holiday, book here. Only work of caution is hill down to beach (& of course back up) whilst a short walk, could be a challenge for anyone in party with mobility problems.

Stayed here for 5 nights as I was taking part in the Ironman. The apartments are clean but basic, yes the bathrooms need updating but was all functional. The location was excellent literally a 3 min walk to the seafront.

Didn't eat there but had a couple of drinks which were reasonably priced. Staff are British and very friendly.

Stayed in apartment 40 which apparently is their most popular as it has a large balcony and gets the sun all day.

For the money you can't go wrong really and we are going back next Feb!
