We just came back from Lanzarote and we would definately recommend it to anyone. The weather was great, sunny all the time, around 25-28C degrees but there was a breeze coming from the sea so it wasn't too hot.... The Apartment itself was really good too, we were actually pleasantly suprised as we paid very little and we got a one bed apartment with a sitting room and kitchen + 1 bedroom and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, there is a bath with a shower and a small terrace :) Also there is a swimming pool, but the water was really, really cold... Apartments are very close to everything, 5mins walk from the promanade with all the shops and restaurants + beach. It's good because it's situated in a quiter part of the resort but it's very close to all discos and loud coctail bars if you fancy any of those. The bus service is 5 min walk away as well so everything is within an easy reach. The staff is very nice. And there is a pool bar next to the swimming pool. All in all very good resort and would recommend it to all.

There are lots of bars, restaurans and shops. There is a nice 'American Indian Bar' with a live music, it's a nice place to go and listne to a music plus the athmosphere is good....more » They serve great coctails, but they are very weak :) There is another place serving huge coctails and its called 'The Coctail Bar', caferul as drinks over there are very strong... :) We really enjoyed the chinease restaurants and they give you small goodies as a 'thank you'. Shame there wasn't much choice of the traditional Spanish food, apart from paella, but even that wasn't too impressive.. Try Sangria, very nice :)We did few excursions: South Tour and North Tour - they are a must if you want to see the island. They take you to see the National Park with vulcanoes, caves, Cesar Manrique Fundation and the highest point of the island (Mirador del Sol) - amazing views. All good but we decided that we would hire a car next time, as those excursion don't always give you enough time to fully appreciate the views, they is an element of rush and we prefer doing everything in our own time.. We also went to Playa Blanca which is really beautiful but more busy than Puerto del Carmen. Worth seeing. Plus we did a Submarine Safari, very interesting and good experience, if you want to save some money prebook your trip on their direct website and they give 15% discount (8euros per person). Rancho Texas is OK, very exciting show with hawks...

All you need to know is you will not find a better hotel at that price. Perfect location, very clean (literally did not see a bug all week) and very friendly staff. Hotel room was basic but lots of space and v clean. Would defo recommend and ignore any other negative comments you read.

Room Tip: Upper floor better

Me and my mum are just back from a great, relaxing week at Los Gracioseros.
The apartments , balcony was spotless and the maids, who were very nice, cleaned our aprtments twice during our week (dusting, mopping, taking out the trash, changing towels, the lot) and not once did we see a cockroach or really any bugs for that matter except from the occasional fly. The pool was extremely quiet but we sat on our balcony the whole time sunbathing, there all little suntraps.
If you want a fan you have to hire it out same for the key for the safety deposit box and the remote for the telly but you get you money back when you give the stuff back. Apart from these things everything else is supplied.
And i have to say i was quite impressed with the tv channels, i've been to places where the only english channel you get is sky news; here you get sky news AND CBS drama, reality and action. I have to warn you though 'cause altogether we had 8 channels, 3 of which were all CBS drama, another 3 were all CBS reality+1; a little strange but if you like Dallas reruns, CSI and a lot of Judge Judy then you're all set.
The location was good as well only like 5mins to thw main strip and 2mins to a large spar. We went out every night and not once did we have a bad meal.
I definately have to recommend a gorgeous chinese restauraunt called The Slow Boat III, when walking down from the apartments you turn right when you hit the strip and walk for like a minute, it's located upstairs and you get a lovely view or the sea, while eating your dinner. The food is amazing and staff are the nicest people ever.
Maybe the apartments could do with a litlle updating and the pool had a few loose tiles but overall these apartments definately deserve more than 1 star. Definately will be going back, had a lovely week in the sun.

The apartments were spacioous and clean, the bar has very attentive staff but unfortunately after a meal out in the evening you think you would like to round the evening off with a few drinks in your own bar, this didnt happen as it was always shut before 10pm. This was mainly due to being off peak time. The apartments are in a perfect place for the main strip, We had a lovely breakfast most mornings on the way down at Mucky Ducks. The best restaurants we found were the Terraza and the Trattoria brilliant meals well priced. We would come back and stay at the apartments.

Room Tip: Apartments above Reception.

Thanks to everyone at Los grac for our brilliant week. A great cheap and cheerful base for a lovely week away. Very clean and well kept, friendly staff, and great location, ever so close to the main strip just a 3 minuet walk round the corner. It was my first holiday to Lanzarote with my other half who has been many times before and staying at Los Gras made my week complete. Its also very close to Rancho Texas which i defiantly recommend to anyone for a great day out! We walked there from Los Grac after being told how close it was by a staff member when we chatted to them and mentioned we wanted to go. People need to realize that they are getting what they pay for which is a lovely clean tidy warm place to get a good nights rest and a good meal if you choose to eat there after days out in Lanzarote, and who needs more than that?! The staff here expect you to be out in the days enjoying yourself or sunning yourself by the pool so this is what is catered for, not inside staring at the walls and criticizing! We will defiantly be staying here again in our next holiday which i hope wont be too far away! Thanks again everyone at Los Gracioseros x

I stayed here with my partner for two weeks and have to say for what we paid it was overall good value.
- The apartments were kept clean and were more than adequate with enough kitchen utensils to cook a basic meal if you don't want to eat out.
- Because this is only a small complex it had quite a nice friendly atmosphere and its easy to see why people return here.
- Its really well situated just a few minutes stroll to the front where you will find loads of bars and places to eat.... if you get a bit hot on route the Mucky Duck is always good for a stop off and the daily two course menu is great value we ate here a few times during our stay and were never disappointed for a good cheap option,

NEGATIVES :
- some tiles were broken and loose and I was disappointed that the pool area wasn't cleaned more often (spilt coffee that someone had spilt and not cleaned up was still on the tiles days later)

That said really don't let that put you off if you want friendly budget accomodation that is really well situated and nice and quiet and secure night times then you won't be disappointed give it ago!

Room Tip: all the rooms are good - if you can try choose the top balcony and furthest away from bar on sat nig...
