Well that's the end of our weeks holiday and this was the perfect base . There is a family pool but we preferred the one across the road where it was quiet and not overly busy. There are loads of great restaurants 5 or 10 mins walk away and we have had lovely meals every time lanzarote is a breezy island but definitely one to visit will come again

Returned yesterday after a weeks stay at the Hyde Park Lane with my daughter.
Check in was quick and easy, welcomed by a friendly face.
We were given bungalow 38 right next to the pool, it was lovely, clean, spacious, and well equipped, as mentioned in other reviews the beds are a bit hard, but slept better than i do i my own bed. They are cleaned 5 days a week, and the cleaners do a good job.
We were self catering, so done a basic food shop when we arrived at the local spar, which is reasonably priced, we made our own breakfast every day, except the last day, as we had no food left we decided to pay 5 euro and have breakfast in the restaurant, not very nice, only warm and the eggs were rock hard and not a lot of choice. Lunch times we had a roll with various fillings, if you go to the spar mid morning they are baking fresh bread sticks, crusty and hot.
Not a lot happens in the pool bar, went to get a drink about 6 in the eve no one was there sat for 45 min no one came so we went.
We walked all the way to Puerto Del Carmen Biosfera shopping center which is a bout 3 mile, and then walked back, stopped a few times for a nice drink or ice cream. 1 euro 50 for a large beer.
Back to the Hyde Park lanes... if you are a cat person then you will love it, there are a lot of cat live at the Hyde Park, we fostered one for the week, it was waiting at our door in the morning, must admit we did by some cat food in the supermarket, if you dont want them round best not feed them. Our fostered cat returned in the eve and came in and kept us company till we went to bed , then off he went to spend the night with his mates.
The pool area along with the pool is cleaned every day, the pool is cold but once you are in its lovely. The gardens around the bungalows are well kept.
We would return to the Hyde Park Lane as we had a very relaxing break. Being near the pool was good, very convenient for popping back for tea and food whilst sitting round the pool. Probably a bit noisier in the height of the season.

Stayed for a week in March and very pleased with the spacious bungalow. Although the complex is a bit away from main centre, the short walk is always beneficial. Main living area is nice and big, with bathroom also good size. Complex is divided into two sections, divided by roadway, with pools in both areas, and plenty of sunbeds. Close by is a tennis court and a number of paddel courts, if you feel energetic enough..
Cooking facilities are adequate, and eating out downtown is quite reasonable.
Would certainly return.

The bungalows where a bit dated but very clean with everything you need in it.Food could be better in restaurant but was cheap and cheerful. Pool was cold but again area was clean.Wifi only able to get in pub or cafe area.Place more suitable for the more mature couples not for young people as very quite .Good value place and would stay there again, but only a 3star.

Just returned 2 days ago. We had a very good time on our 11 day holiday.
The site is very well laid out and the accomodation is good. We stayed at half board and must say we did not enjoy the food at all. We have never moaned about food anywhere we have previously been to as we know the food will differ from what we are used to. However it is obvious that the food is 98% catering for the Germans. Unless you enjoy waffle,s crusty rolls, spicey ham and cheeses etc you will not enjoy it. Dont let the food problem put you off because it is reasonobly cheap to eat out. You can get a full english breakfast for between 2 and 3 euros. Another thing is if people do not like cats be aware that there are a few roaming about on the site but they do not bother anyone. The staff are very nice and very helpful. It is 5 minutes from the beach. All in all we had a very good time at the Bungallows the only thing for us was the food but we will definatly return but for self catering only.
