Very good value for money. It is basic but comfortable. Room cleaned 5 out of 7 days, clean linen and towels. Receptionist on arrival was very helpful, about hotel and general location. Great location only 10 minutes walk to promenade with plenty of restaurants. Bundles of Wi-fi were available through reception. It suited our needs as a base to explore the island by car. Plenty of free parking available.

Room Tip: Chose a room overlooking the pool on the 2nd floor.

I have recently come home from a weeks self catering holiday in these apartments with my mom, sister and sisters boyfriend. When we arrived the receptionist didn't seem very welcoming. The hotel was clean when arriving, the rooms are cleaned daily and bed sheets and towels are changed every couple of days.
We were in apartments round the corner from the pool and the view we had from the bedroom was a wall and a small yard where the workers worked. However, with there being no fans in the apartments and the rooms were hot it meant that we had to have our window open constantly. The workers were round the back of our room (directly out of the bedroom window) every morning and were being loud from around 7.30am onwards. The walls were thin so it would be very unfortunate if you got put next to a loud group.
There are two fair sized pool and a tiny pool for infants. The site was quiet and relaxing most of the time. There were plenty of sunbeds round the pools for people staying in the apartments, however, the sunbeds are really uncomfortable and quite a few of them broke, changing the sunbeds around the pool would be my number one recommendation. Also, there are no umbrella's around the pool which could be quite a problem if people were taking young children on the holiday with them. The pools were okay, a little cold though considering they weren't that big. The general pool areas were cleaned daily, but I have seen better cleaning in other hotels, there always seemed to be things in the pool that had fallen off the trees on previous days.
There is a happy hour in the hotel bar every day from 4 til 5pm where beers are 2.50 euros and buy one get one free. Spirits are also buy one get one free at this time. (My sisters boyfriend loved the happy hour). The bar staff are lovely and friendly so are various staff around the apartments.
Depending on how fast you walked you could get to the strip with bars, restaurants and shops with in ten to fifteen minutes.
These apartments are good for the price you are paying, after all they are only three star self catering anyway so I wouldn't expect a lot.

Room Tip: The higher rooms seem to be a lot darker than the ground floor and the bedrooms a bit smaller.

The 2nd class apts (the others are by the pool) do not have any nice back "lanscape" though a wall (and the people who work there walk talk constantly, every morning from 8 am on) and all the "maintenance" stuff.
The walls between one apt and the other are like paper sheets.
It has been renewed? What does that mean? the furnitures have been repainted and they're very "basic".
The ones that work for this building are very kind.
The position of the apts is close to the arabian area so ...just be patient when you hear some sounds coming from the mosque.

Room Tip: Look for the apts by the pool!

Went here on girls holiday for a week, the six of us, but it is also suitable for families and couples. Relatively basic facilities, but all you need really. Two pools, one was colder than the other but both fairly clean and not too cold. However, bear in mind that you have to pay extra for air con/wi fi/safety deposit box and television, all of which are very expensive. The staff were very friendly, great pool bar. It's about a 5-10 min walk from the main strip, but it should be noted that the main nightlife of Puerto del Carmen is a good 20 mins walk away, along the strip, at Centro Atlantica - which is basically a busy collection of bars/clubs etc. The maid comes 5 days a week. Excursions can be easily booked through reception - we went camel riding and to the market which were well worth doing. Only minor fault I could pick with the rooms would be the shower, which was hot-cold. Towels provided, which was good. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. Overall a really good holiday, the hotel clean and basic, but a really enjoyable experience.

Me & my brother have just returned from spending a week at the Apartamentos Los Tulipanes. We loved it the apartment was cleaned everyday by the cleaners. The staff at the pool bar were extremely friendly and helpful. The beach and the bars and restaurants was only a 5 minuet walk away. Most bars and restaurants had brilliant access for wheelchair users like myself. The bar staff in the bars and club make you feel so welcome and comfortable. You can book days out with people who have shops on the strip and also there is another pool within the area of the apartments. Would also recommend that families come to these apartments i'm sure they would have a blast. Lovely holiday we both said we would both defiantly go back without a doubt. Lovely holiday !!!!

We stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay it is in a good location about 5min walk to the front which had beaches, shops, bars and restaurants we didnt need a taxi once. The apartment although basic it had everything we needed when on holiday and being mostly outdoors - everything was clean- cleaners came in each day, bed was ok would of prefered a double rather than 2 singles together but was no problem. Shower was gud had plenty hot water. Outside we had a table and chairs and nice private area to sit as we had the end apartment. We hired the safe in our apartment for 20€ inc 5€ deposit and the staff where helpful and friendly. The pools where nice and cool, well looked after-seen it being cleaned every morning and there was plenty of sun loungers to use. Would recommend staying here we had a really good time.

We stayed as a couple in apartment 3 at this complex for 1 week on a last minute booking.
The apartments are basic, clean with kettle / toaster etc, just as you would expect from a self catering apartment.
The bathroom was dated but did the trick, the shower was one of the older designed ones but there was enough hot water so no complaints there.
The beds were the most UNCOMFORTABLE things we ever slept on, neither of us got a good nights sleep for the whole week and woke feeling very tired : (
The staff at the complex are not very helpful, on the first night we asked the bar man if there were any wine glasses as we didn't have any in our cupboard and was told " no I only have a few " we were told to ask at reception which we did the following day but again was told " no "
This put paid to our planned romantic night in on the terrace with a bottle of wine !
We also found the staff very noisy first thing in the morning which added to our restless night sleep somewhat.
The pool bar is good during happy hour 4pm-5pm buy one beer get one free, but be careful of the bar man who on a couple of occasions doesn't appear to be able to tell the time and on 2 occasions happy hour was happy 40 minutes !
The pool area is nice but beware of how cold the pool actually is, people didn't go in there because it was so unbearable, I went in there once !!!!
Overall this is very very basic accommodation which could be improved in many ways.
Im not one for returing anywhere twice but if I was asked to recommend this place I probably wouldn't.
