We've just come back from 10days at this hotel. I cannot fault it. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food was varied always lots of choice. Staff really attentive, nothing was a problem. We were in room 1417, a sea view room with a really big balcony. So much so we hired sun beds for our balcony which was great for me as I don't like it when it gets too hot. The hubby could stay outside while I went into the lovely air conditioned room. Only fault was the pool was too salty but then again I'm not really interested in going in the water. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Room was cleaned every day with new towels and even if you put the do to disturb sign on the door you still got your free bottle of water left outside your door. Brilliant value for money.

Room Tip: 1417 was brilliant

This hotel is great value for money especially the all inclusive option, the staff are very friendly, the hotel is spotless & modern, food is good although choice could be a bit more varied, good location to, I would recommend this hotel to families & couples over 30.

Room Tip: All the rooms in this hotel are modern so no need to choose a specific room.

A friend and I stayed in this hotel in September 2013 and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The review isn't brief but if you want to know exactly what there is / isn't then read on...

LOCATION:
Located just outside the main 'strip' (by the way, the strip is basically where all the bars and main restaurants are, just along the coast) the hotel has its own pool and you just have to cross a road to get to the beach. Its a 10 minute drive from the airport but don't worry, you won't hear the planes as they take off / land over the sea.
If you want to walk to the strip (like we did every night) then go towards the beach and turn right. Stay on the coast road and you'll be there before you know it. Don't worry about walking back late at night either, the area was very safe and we never felt concerned about being out at any hour.

FOOD:
Loads of variety! You can eat healthily, unhealthily, lots or little; it is entirely up to you. There is fresh fruit (no flies in sight!), hot food, cold food, starters, main course, dessert. Even if you were a really picky eater there would be something for you. You'll get served drinks at your table whilst dining and there are plenty of staff on-hand to help.

CLEANLINESS
It is immaculate, there is no other word for it. Rooms are cleaned daily, floors are washed and you won't find any dust in sight. The balconies are large, tidy and well kept. Table & chairs are provided, as well as a drying rack. If you want your towels changed then just leave them on the floor, if you hang them back up then they won't be changed (there is a sign to say this too).

POOL / SUN-BEDS
Although you don't think the pool looks that big, it is perfectly adequate and never over-crowded. We turned up at various hours of the day to the pool and never had a problem getting a sun-bed. They have umbrellas too if you want to stay in the shade. The pool bar is good, serves burgers, chips etc in the day and we couldn't find a drink that they didn't serve. You won't get the named brands as part of the all-inclusive but whatever brands were used they tasted just as good. I'd recommend G+T and obviously the beer!

GYM
A couple of running machines, a couple of cross trainers and a couple of bikes. Oh, and there are some weights in there too. I was only the ever person in there so don't expect it to be crowded. However, there isn't any air conditioning in the gym so it did get hot when exercising. A minor point (especially as the gym is free to use) but still worth mentioning.

MISC
There is air conditioning everywhere you go inside so don't worry about getting too hot. There is 'entertainment' in the evening which generally consists of a singer and / or dancer. Good for family entertainment and perhaps older couples. If, however, you are young then I'd recommend taking the 10-15 minute walk down the coast and experiencing the bars. They're good fun and a lot more lively. The Irish bars are worth checking out (there are quite a few) and Route66 is further along but always busy. Beer is generally 2 for €5, shots being the same.
The only gripe I would have (other than air-con in the gym) is that you have to pay for WiFi. We didn't bother as bars offer it on the strip. However, if you want it for the week I think its about €20. In my opinion they should make it free for guests.

ACTIVITIES
If you're after water sports then head along the coast (again, walking right (away from the airport)) and there is a place that does jet ski hire, para sailing, banana boat etc. It isn't the cheapest thing to do but good fun. You might want to get a taxi though as its about 40-45 minute walk.
There are loads of car hire places (there is one about 3 doors down from the hotel on the sea-front) so you can hire a car for about £25 a day. They work out almost identical in price so worth using the local one. You can organise a car at reception but I would imagine it is more expensive. There is also a go-kart track between the hotel and the airport. You couldn't walk it but for about €10-15 you can get a taxi. There are plenty of leaflets at hotel reception on things to do though so check them out.

OVERALL
Great hotel in a brilliant location. You're not on the strip so yo get better quality, lower price and no drunks stumbling around. However, you're within walking distance of the local area and offering cleanliness, comfort and good food, what more could you ask for?

Room Tip: Go for the sea-view upgrade. Only a few £ extra and you'll probably end up on the top floor, no...

stopped here for 2 weeks mid Sept. lovely hotel and kept spotlessly clean, staff very helpful, room very good and spacious(lovely walk in shower!!) food good but bit repetitive, drinks ok. agree with reviews of entertainment, limited to same kids disco songs, short show till 10/10.30 then just Cd till 12, also poor room with limited views due to support pillars. lovely position just over road to beach and lovely walk to either matagorda or puerto carmen. alot of germans with usual superior attitude and always early for sunbeds, but plenty available elsewhere around lovely but cold pool. all in all enjoyed our stay not sure if we would revisit though but area lovely.

Never wrote a review before but couldn't not say how fantastic this hotel is... Stayed for a week and couldn't find a fault. Would recommend to any1. Staff were kind friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy at all times, food was great with a wide range of choice. Honestly couldn't find a bad word to say about it.

My hubby and I stayed for 2 weeks in sept,we arrived late but was checked in very quickly by a lovely man on reception, when we got to our rooms the hotel had provided us with a cold salad & fruit which was very nice & unexpected. After a very good night sleep in a comfortable bed we went down for breakfast, this I found a bit disappointing compared to other hotels we have stayed in,but managed to find something to eat,I think breakfast was my least favourite meal in the hotel, some mornings broccoli, creamed carrots & chips ????.All the staff apart from one or two are very friendly, the hotel is spotless as are the rooms the cleaners never stop. Some people have said they found it hard to get a sunbed in the morning but we had no problem, yes if you want right beside the pool,a odd one putting down towels & never turning up.The hotel seems to cater to the German tourist which there are quite a few, less English speaking. The location is very good about 10/15 mins walk to main shopping area,10mins to beach.Entertainment was very limited some good acts pity about the room it's held in quite a few pillars so viewing hard, our last night we had a magician omg he was so rude I thought at one time there was going to be a fight with him & an a guest,it was the best part of his act lol.All in all a good hotel but don't think we would return, like to try other hotels.

In the breakfast we always try to please all different tastes starting with eggs, salad ,paté,cheese, vegetables, fruits, cornflakesdifferent ,bread....

My wife and I stayed for a week in Sept at this excellent hotel ,our flight was delayed so we arrived late in the evening ,we were greeted by a smiling gentlemen in reception who checked us in and gave all the relevant information also telling us there was a cold meal waiting in our room.We turned up for breakfast which was very relaxed and welcoming in the buffet restaurant ,which was the venue for all meals ,you could sit inside or out if there was a table available which was most of the time .We were all inclusive and found all the meals had a good variety of excellent standard ,the staff were 1st class everyone had a smile and nothing was too much trouble ,the tables were cleared and reset with each new arrival .
The room we had was on the side with a sea /beach view ,spacious very clean with a walk in shower ,plenty of hangers and shelves .
We are not pool people but it was large enough with plenty of sunbeds, once again the pool area was spotless.
Every time we went to reception we were greeted with a smile and given all the information we required .
The position of the hotel could not have been better ,a 5 minute walk to the beach across the road ,10 minutes away from the main shops ,bars, restaurants or a 5 min taxi ride to the old town.
There where mainly adults in the hotel at the time, only a few children, the evening entertainment was ok and bar service was quick.
In summery for us this hotel is 1st class and should be proud of the staff ,spotless clean good food an all round perfect experience,we shall go back.

Room Tip: Try to get a side room 1316 or near .
