This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Its not quite in the centre of Puerto Del Carmen but its a nice walk and easy / cheap to get a taxi. Its near to all the shops / bars / restaurants but the hotel itself is quiet, in a peaceful location and just over the road from the beach.
We got a 13 euro taxi from the airport instead of using transfers. The staff on reception were very welcoming and the room was lovely and clean, it was a side room but we still had a view of the sea. We could not fault our room at all! The room was cleaned every day and the grounds of the hotel were kept so nice and clean, there was always someone cleaning.

We were all inclusive and made full use of the facilities, we did yoga / stretching, aqua aerobics, used the sauna and the gym a little bit too. The bar staff were always very friendly and there was a good variety of drinks ( good alcohol measures too).
The food - i have to say this was the only thing that slightly let the hotel down for us. Breakfast was great, everything you could want, they had it. Lunch was good too, salads, pasta, fruit. But evening meal was so repetitive, it is very hard to please everyone, i know, but it was almost the same thing every night. The waiters were brilliant though.
There were so many sun beds we always managed to get one but there is always the usual towels out way before breakfast. The hotel was majority German when we first got there but there was a good mix by the end of the week.
I was so happy that the pool was heated, i never swim when i go away but this time i did, it was lovely. The outside jacuzzi was nice too.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, i found it more of an adult hotel rather than a family one, which was perfect for us two friends wanting a bit of peace and quiet by the pool.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in September, we arrived to boiling weather and a warm welcome. We got the coach to the hotel which didn't take long at all, the greeting at the hotel was great we dropped off our bags in our room and we were very satisfied the room was very clean modern and had everything you could need decent shower comfy bed clean balcony good tv and working aircon. We then went to dinner the restraunt was also very clean and modern the food had lots of choice was all very warm and delicious, the pool area was very clean sunbeds were great only downfall was the salt water pool (I prefer not salt water) we went out most night as hotel entertainment wasn't very good there are loads of really nice bars shops and restaurants everywhere we went we got a warm welcome and everywhere was very clean, it overall was a brilliant holiday and I would defiantly return and recommend this hotel and location to anyone of any age .

My husband and I have just returned after our second visit to this hotel and were not disappointed. Standards are still high, and everywhere is so clean. The staff do a wonderful job in keeping everything clean and tidy. Some of the waiters and the manageress are still there from last year, which I think is a good indication of commitment from the staff.
I agree with some of the reviewers that the food could be warmer, but as the main doors from the pool area are always open, this could be the reason why food cools down so quickly. The food choices are good, always fish, white meat, red meat, pasta, and a good salad bar. Always a good choice of bread and rolls, and nice desserts, with various ice-creams. I like the fact that at breakfast, you can have teapots/ coffee pots and saves time queuing for a refill. PG Tips teabags were available, as were flavoured teabags. but we found the coffee a bit strong. During the day, soft or alcoholic drinks were served in plastic cups at the pool bar, but served in glasses in the main bar at night. Tea and coffee was available most of the day. The carnival was on while we were there, the costumes, floats and music were great, and a lot of effort was put in by all taking part. The bin lorries followed the parade and cleaned everything up immediately. They even washed the streets with disinfectant!
The entertainment at night was just Ok, but seemed busy most nights, as there is not a lot on outside the hotel. There is a book swap in the reception area, but as the majority of guests are from outwith the UK, there weren't many books in English, so bring plenty with you. There is a little supermarket a 5 min walk away, and you can get British newspapers on a daily basis. The hotel is in a quiet area so no noise from traffic or bars.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms get the sun most of the day

The Lanzarote Village was excellent. Very clean, lovely room which had a kettle + coffee + tea for u.

Great gym with 2 cross trainers, 2 treadmill, 2 bikes and a mini weight section in the middle. A sauna which was free to use between the hours of 3pm - 7pm.

I don't eat meat so am fussy but there was always plenty of options for anyone. I thought the food was great.

The swimming pool was warm, not mega warm but certainly not cold.

Free wifi which I could pick up on the sun beds but not in my room.

Found all staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much.

I have stayed in a few places in Lanzarote but by far this was the best one I have ever visited.

I will say though that the entertainment was a bit hit and miss but this doesn't really bother me.

Would love to return.

Room Tip: The rooms with sea view are of course the best but you would need to pay extra for this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lanzarote Village. Our room was huge (suite) so it meant that our son had his own space, which was great. Our bathroom had a large walk in shower and a bath with another shower over it. Both showers were really powerful with loads of hot water.
The fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities were useful, and there were loads of sockets for charging up phones, using hair driers etc.
Everywhere was kept really clean and tidy, and all the staff we had contact with were helpful and cheerful.
There was a huge choice of food and surely something for even the fussiest of eaters.
We had no problem with sunbeds, and we all used the pool which was not too cold. My husband and son enjoyed many of the activities organised by the animation team and came home with a few certificates and bottles of Cava.
The only down side was that the lounge for evening entertainment was not that big, so you had to be early to get seats. As I was on crutches, we did not stay to watch/listen as we did not get seats so we can't comment on the standard of the entertainment.

Spent a week at this hotel over feb half term and had a great week.
The hotel is in a quiet area but not far to walk into the centre of town with loads of bars and shops etc. We hired a car, it was easy to park - always spaces when we came back too.
The rooms were quite big, we had a large terrace which unfortunately we didnt use much as there wasn't much sun and it was a bit nippy in the shade when we were there. The room was spotless and the cleaner always came in the morning which suited us as we like to go back for a siesta in the afternoon.
The pool area was quiet and spacious, not many kids around even though it was half term and it was easy to get a chair most days. Only issue was that the few children that were there decided to use the lukewarm jacuzzi as a kids pool most of the time so we gave that a miss!
We stayed half board, breakfast was ok although lots of the hot items were quite cold, we solved this when we found out how to use the microwave though. Great choice although some a bit strange, the british were definitely in the minority at this hotel so that probably explains it!
Dinners we found to be lovely. Great choice of fresh salads and soup with loads of other options - we enjoyed every meal in there. The restaurant staff were friendly and smiling most of the time and made us feel very welcome
Most people were all inclusive but we were glad not to be as we didnt want to be stuck in the hotel for the whole time. We hung around a few evenings but the entertainment was dire so we walked into town and had a cheap 4 euro taxi back - well worth it.
The best entertainment in Lanzarote is by far the Glamour Girls drag show - its a free show (not like other drag artists there) and is on in a few bars but the best and longest show is at the Bourbon Street lounge in Old Town on a friday night. Dont miss it - Darren and Ricky are brilliant and its the best free show I've seen

My only complaints about this place were that check in and out was really, really slow - I resent having to wait ages to pay a bill at the end of my holiday. It was tempting to just leave but we waited to pay.
The only other problem we had was that there seemed to be loads of mossies around in the area outside our room on the ground floor. We kept the doors shut but the maid kept it open when she cleaned. I'm one of those people who always gets bitten and I woke up the first morning covered with bites so I would recommend a good bug spray around the room every evening.
Overall its a great hotel, we would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: E mail the hotel asking for a sea view - you will get sunshine on the patio all day

This hotel was lovely with large rooms, walk in showers and generous balconies (although due to it's position ours did not get a lot of sun). The rooms, gardens , pool area and all communal areas were kept immaculately clean and tidy. Apart from one slightly grumpy waiter/bar man, we found the staff fantastic really friendly, smiley and helpful particularly Arnell in the restaurant and the reception staff.
The food was good value for the price paid, the only grumble from us was that the desserts were a bit repetative, we never had problems with cold or lukewarm food. If you are going out for the day the hotel will provide a pack lunch if you are on the all inclusive programme, which includes sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, water etc we really appreciated this when we hired the car and drove round the Island.
There were a good range of drinks in the AI programme including a variety of cocktails in the main bar. The evening entertainment was a bit predictable, but if you are able to see the animation teams cabaret performance it's great! You'll see Franco in a whole new light!
Overall we had a great week, with lots of sunshine in a great hotel with lovely staff, we hope to return next year with our kids.
