“Spacious, quiet and ideally situated”

This was our first visit to lanzarote, and at the end of our holiday my husband told me that I had chosen well ! This included the apartment.
Gabby the owner was very helpful and she said I could contact her at any time if there were any problems. We did have difficulty in getting the TV working at first as the sky channels were very limited in fact nothing at all for most of our stay. However there was a DVD player and many DVDs to watch, not that we went to lanzarote to watch TV but our two boys 13 and 9 did like to just chill on occasions and my husband did enjoy the ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES DVDs.
The Wifi wasn't that great either, seemed to work best on the bedroom patio and not at all inside the apartment. However many of the restaurant s had free wifi.
The apartment itself was lovey, nicely decorated and spacious and a good breeze blew though when bedroom window a d patio door was open.
The pool was wonderful , it was clean and garden was well maintained. The pool area was really quiet and I loved the fact that it was litterally 10 paces from our patio door - we were in the pool every day.
Although Karim was unable at the last minute to pick us up from the airport we just got a taxi from just outside airport terminal.
There was supposed to be a mid week clean that I was sort of expecting half way through our stay but no one turned up until we only had 4 days left, and as the very nice lady arrived unannounced and my husband was in the shower, it was about 5.30, I told her it was ok as I had been sweeping up and washed the towels anyway - not sure if she understood but I think she got the jist of it and it really wasn't a problem.
Overall the apartment is in a great location - head left and down the steps and you are right on the strip with plenty of restaurants and shops. The sea is beautifully clean, the sand is very hot though. We did hire a car for 5 days - £ 80 what a bargain we went everywhere including the volcanos, camel riding and stopping off on route seeing the places of interest - El Golfo etc.
Everybody in lanzarote seems so pleasant and helpful and overall we had a great first time experience. And of corse the weather was fab too!

“Quiet, relaxing, beautiful weather - all you want in a holiday”
Reviewed July 13, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Gabby appears to be a really lovely person who genuinely cares whether her guests are having a good time. She seems to do her best to ensure that everything is right. We arrived at Gabby's apartment having been picked up from the airport by Karim. There was a lovely welcome waiting for us in the form of a bottle of wine. Although we don't drink the thought was appreciated. The property is ideal and not too far from the airport. It is within walking distance of local shops, the beach and all the other amenities. The beds in the apartment were very comfortable and everything was in working order. The only thing we had a slight problem with was the wifi which only worked properly on the patio and only for two devices at a time. However, we got used to it! Also we couldn't access any BBC channels on the TV which was a bit of a pain for hubby since he loves his tennis (in fact he is a fanatic) and wanted to watch Wimbledon. Gabby organised for Karim to try and sort this out but it seems that the problem lies with the communal system. This did not spoil our holiday and everything else was excellent. The pool was lovely and refreshing. The area was nice and quiet. The gardens were pretty and well kept.
The highlight of our holiday was when we went on the grand tour which was fantastic. We saw the amazing volcanoes and the cave and also rode on a camel. There is so much to do we will have to come back and do some more!

“Lovely stay”
Reviewed June 23, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Wife and I, and 4 year old and 6 mth old baby stayed for 10 nights 2nd to 12th June.
Nice secure and quiet complex and great homely apartment with everything you will need. We had a travel cot ready for our arrival, and wine and a few essentials was a welcome touch too.
Loved the fact we could walk out of patio doors and the swimming pool is 10ft away, although a small wall / shrubs stop children wandering straight out to pool area. Was never more than a couple of people the whole time we were there using the pool at same time, and plenty of space if you wanted to sit by pool. We didn't bother as it was nice to sit in patio area in shade,.
My 4 yr old loved it, in and out of the pool all day, albeit a little chilly at times.
Apartment had TV, dvd, sky, games etc but we did not turn TV on once in 10 days! Oven, microwave, fridge freezer all worked fine.
We liked the location, far enough away from resort centre to be really quiet and as the complex is privately owned with I think about 18 apatrtments I think only about 5 were occupied whilst we were there, but the main thing you shouldn't get any nuisance holiday groups making loads of noise. We got the impression that any anti social behaviour would have been quickly sorted.
We tended to eat in for lunch and go out for dinner. We had a pram with baby and a 4 year old and we didn't have an issue with the walk. I would say about 10 mins to beach / restaurants, 15-20 mins to the marina side. Quite steep to say the least but didn't bother us, good to exercise off some of our excess eating!
We hired a car, easy parking outside apartment, but if you wanted to stay in Puerto del Carmen there was really no need for one at all. There seemed plenty of buses and taxis if you needed them.
Would definitely stay again, we are thinking about doing so again next year.
Gabby the owner was also easy to communicate with, I even phoned her up whilst there to complain to tell her microwave wasn't working which is usually the case when it isn't plugged in!
Only small issue was wifi was hit and miss, only worked on patio, but small issue, and our midweek clean was forgotten about but gabby was very apologetic and so was gabby's contact in lanzarote who looks after the apartment and doubles up as a taxi driver to and from the airport which was also very useful. He was apologetic enough to say 'pay me what you like ' for the return airport trip and high chair hire (At least that's what we thought he was trying to say) - didn't matter, we paid him in full I'm not that tight and we all have a living to make.
Hopefully will return again.

“Secure and comfortable”

Stayed in Los Pelicanos apt. 107 for 10 nights in December 2014. The apartment is very well fitted out and is quite spacious with excellent storage / wardrobe space.
It is in a small quiet complex and has a good safe / secure vibe. The pool is not heated so be aware for winter breaks. It has ample parking outside on a quiet street and is only a few minutes walk downhill to the beach, some shops & restaurants are closer.
Its a nice apartment with 2 terraces, the smaller one is lovely for early morning winter sun, overall a spacious bright, clean apartment the kitchen was very well equipped and a joy to make light meals in. I would be happy to stay here again and have no hesitation recommending to anyone.

“Great apartment, well situated”

Gabby's apartment is a spacious, spotless two-bedroom apartment with comfy beds. The second bedroom has modern bunk beds but would still be big enough for a family of four or two couples. There is also a large couch for a third child if needed. You are literally 5 metres from the pool as you are on the ground floor. The complex is small and feels very secure with good locking doors front and back. There is free WIFI which, by and large, is pretty reliable. There is a TV with English channels but no BBC ITV etc but I assume this is pretty commonplace. If you want footy etc then loads of bars show it anyway.
The complex is really well situated and very quiet. Its probably ten minutes walk to the old town and under ten mins walk to the main strip, which has really improved since I went to PDC in 1998, there are a mile of bars restaurants and a mixture of 'tat' shops but also plenty of high quality shops. You would have to be here for months to go in all the restaurants. There is a steep drop down to the strip which is a bit tough coming back but its only 100 yards uphill so not a problem, you can walk your tea off!
Gabby is extremely helpful and responds straightaway if there are any issues, but chances are there wont be. Gabby can also arrange a pick up from the airport right to your door which is worth doing. We will be back!!
