Well.... It's our last night here. I am gutted to leave. The hotel is amazing, clean, fab location, brilliant food and entertainment..... A special thanks to the restaurant staff who make you laugh it's never too much . Especially kriss who makes the most excuisit cocktails. If it's not on the list he will make it if he has the ingredients. We are definitely coming back next year!! Apartment 216 is fabulous !! Also stride out to some lovely restaurants nearby !

Just returned from our second visit. We have always said we will go back to Costa sal because its such a perfect place in a perfect location. The staff cant do enough for you and are very friendly. My partner requested we stayed in the same room we did 2 years ago and they reserved it for us.
The reason my review is only 4 star and not 5 is because the first couple days the room next door to us was having work done to it, they started between 7-8am If we knew this before hand we wouldn't of minded a different room to what was requested, however we wasn't told this was the case so the first couple days were very noisy. I did phone the reception to ask how long this would go on for and she phoned me back as soon as she knew and told me work should be finished the next day, She was very polite and apologetic.
Also our room was closer to the lower smaller pool, we requested the room we did because it was right next to it and it was a lot quieter then the top pool. Understandably this time of year is busier, however there is a sign to say no floats/diving and whilst a couple floats are okay the pool was heaving with floats. So much so anyone who just wanted to take a little swim couldn't do so without being bashed. I know this is more to do with common sense of people using the floats but the life guard was just sat on his phone.. at some point you would say enough.
The shop below the lobby is very convenient and is always well stocked, the staff in there are lovely.
We ate at the restaurant twice, the food is lovely and good size portions.
Overall we enjoyed our second stay and will be back again when we return to lanzarote.

While I am writing this, I am aching to go back... we had a truly wonderful holiday in Lanzarote & Costa Sal was one of the main reasons why. It really is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed on a sun holiday! Couldn’t have asked for anything more as a starting point for our 1st family holiday abroad.

We were upgraded to a ‘villa’ (bungalow) upon check in. We were tired as we arrived late, rushed to get food in our bellies (restaurant was closing at 10pm) - food in zest was fabulous all week. Having full bellies, we made it down to the ‘villa’, what a treat! Such a wonderful upgrade. So much space for our 5 & 2 year olds not to mention us... clean, spacious, with everything you could imagine. Beds were very comfortable. Shower & bathroom was fabulous - an unlimited amount of hot water. In the morning light we could really appreciate the spacious patios of the ‘villa’.

The coded gates around the complex added to the feeling of safety. Facilities were fantastic, restaurant & bar on site - top notch, Carol & Chris among others were super friendly - all staff were lovely. Onsite supermarket was well stocked. Pool areas were well maintained, spacious & perfect for families.

Villa was cleaned 5/7 days. Cleaner was so lovely also - and was her 1st week on the job too!

Our flight was late departing and unfortunately it was not possible to pay an extra fee to extend our stay in the villa. We did enquire, and while disappointing that it couldn’t happen: we understood why the complex was fully booked! We sadly checked out at 12pm. However, we did have use of a luggage room & onsite facilities for as long as we needed. There was also changing & shower facilities available. These were clean, small & busy when we required them. One word of warning though... the showers here were freezing & pressure was terrible! Not the nicest end to our holiday...

But that is truly my only one small gripe. We honestly had a fabulous holiday & would return to Costa Sal in a heartbeat.

stayed early may for our third visit, just as good as first staff great food superb rooms very good . The only thing we missed was that wonderful lady Fi Fi at breakfast she lit up the morning, all other staff Sheena, Greg, new barman Thomas Paul and not forgetting Jackie, all in all, a super hotel with a super restaurant, we're back in September to celebrate our 50th wedding.

Had our 2nd visit to this hotel and will re-book another soon. Friendly staff, especially Pavlina who arranged for us to upgrade from a room to a suite for our anniversary. Relaxing space at the large pool and plenty of sunbeds (no towels before 9am) and also a smaller pool beside the villas. There are various entrances into the grounds (codes for gates) which means when entering the grounds you don't have to go through reception. The restaurant is good value for money especially the breakfast. The hotel is disabled friendly with plenty of ramps and easy access. They have entertainment on most nights, and there are tennis courts for the energetic. The hotel is situated at the top of a small hill and away from the main road, so not too much traffic. It's about a 10 minute walk to the long sandy beach. There is a centre near by which has shops, bars and restaurants, or you can catch a bus across the road that takes you to the main part of town in 15 minutes.
