Stayed here for a week over the easter hols... apartments are spacious & lovely, lovely sea view at front from balcony. Lovely pool and small young childs pool, plenty of sunbeds & space around apartments to sunbathe. I would only recommend people go on either b&b or self catering tho.
I would say these are 3 star apartments.

Room Tip: There is no entertainment at these apartments. They only do breakfast which is delicious & all f...

When I arrived at apartments front entrance was locked but sign said use side gate and collect keys from pool bar..up a hill and few stairs into complex took a few minutes detective work to find bar. Met by friendly staff. No lifts so have to carry luggage up stairs.
First impressions on entering room was very clean and well set out. Bathroom : clean but unfortunately if you want a bath you would struggle to lie in it and the shower was on the low side would hate to taller than I am as my head was just couple inches off the ceiling.
Kitchen area had all conveniences required for self catering; microwave, kettle, fridge and 2 ring hob.
I had originally booked half board but at last minute this was cancelled by holiday firm as hotel did not do half board. Breakfast was very basic, choice of 3 cereals, cooked breakfast (sausage, bacon, toms, beans, and eggs), toast. I travelled myself and found the staff at breakfast very friendly and chatty.
Maid service I could not fault my maid was great she was thorough, clean towels every 2 days.
I only spent one day at poolside the rest of my time i spent on my balcony which was very private ( I was second top floor) overlooking the pool and sea view. Sunbeds are readily available but you have to pay 1 euro for a mat.
Would certainly use apartments again but on a self catering basis as supermarket right beside apartments.

First impressions on arrival mid pm were not very positive, the complex was closed - or rather the reception was! It transpired that the reception is only part time and we had to make our way to the side gate to gain entry; not very welcoming and another steep hill with more stairs to get in........

Once in the apartments though we were rather impressed on the whole, as budget apartments go they were well equipped, clean, airy and we had a great view over the pool and sea. (Penalty is dragging your case up 3 steep flights of stairs to our floor though!) Very unusually for Spain the beds were very comfortable which is a big plus for me. As many have already mentioned location is the cherry on the cake here; adjacent supermarkets, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby in the old town; but do note the steep hills to descend and climb each time! At the poolside there was enough space to chill out, but this being March make sure you're up soon for your beds in busy months, as you'll otherwise struggle with finding both sunbeds and a space!

On the negative side most of the (English) staff were dour at best, seeming almost completely devoid of personality or interest in their residents, though I do concede we were given the apartments we'd requested before arrival. The maids were also a mixture of pleasant Spanish ladies but also a rather hostile African girl who could be very abrupt! The sole exception we found to be the elderly lady working in the pool bar, who was always pleasant, attentive and helpful.

Depite looking quite nice I found the pool rather unpleasant to spend much time in, as it must be as salty as the Dead Sea! As someone who likes long swims, I found the excessive salt stung my eyes and even strips off 'day long' suntan lotion leading to sunburn so beware! (*The salt levels are such though you'd struggle to drown as you can float vertically without moving!)

Other irriatations were the 'lie flat only' sunbeds which I particularly dislike and a very small bathroom with such a low ceiling anyone over 5' 9" ish would have to stoop to shower!

In all though good value and lots to like at the price, but in this case the devil is very much so in the details!

Room Tip: The 300's block has excellent views on floors 3 and 4 and is back from the main road so is proba...

Upon arrival at these apartments, the English receptionist was not very friendly and welcoming. Asked for extra pillows, but was advised you only get what you booked. Our rep told us to ask for an email which would be waiting for us when we arrived, but she advised us nothing was waiting without even checking !! You had to hire a remote control for the TV at 14 euros for the week, which we never. Our room was not ready, there was no where safe to keep our cases so we had to lug our cases and go to the nearest pub and wait almost 2 hrs, as it turns out, the purple turtle became our local for the first 4 days, until it closed for a week for refurb. Once we got into our appartment (303) and unpacked, we were quite impressed. The basic rooms were very clean, spacious and the beds were kinda ok. Pool area immaculate with plenty sunbeds and space. Handing having the supermarket at the bottom of the back entrance to the hotel (5 seconds down a wee slope) and reasonable prices. Plenty eating places nearby and the town area where the mass of bars and restaurants and shops are, is just about a 10 minute walk, but beware, quite hilly and if you not good at walking then the bus takes you there for a couple of euros or a taxi is only 5 euros. We enjoyed out stay here, and although our teenage son was a bit bored at times, I would come back here.

The apartments were typical of what you get in Lanzarote. They were certainly big enough for a couple. We had basic cooking facilities if we needed them (no oven though). Nice sunny balcony.

The pool is big and the pool area was adequate for sunbathing. I imagine it might get a bit busier in the summer months.

The town of Puerto del Carmen is a good place to get away from the English winter. There are your typical ex-pat bars and also a mix of local run bars. In general though the whole area is geared up for the tourist. There were plenty of bars and restaurants open until late (some the early hours) and the weather was great. Perfectly adequate for sunbathing when the sun was out (sometimes it does could over at this time of year but generally not for the whole day).

All in all for a SC holiday including flights for under £200pp you can not go wrong. Much better bet than an all inclusive to Egypt at this time of year.

Please note all my ratings are done on value for money.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartments are basic but clean and contain all you'll need, you have to rent your tv 2euro a day and app 5 channels but 4 off them are news and the other is fox. my only big complaint is we didnt feel very safe at night as the sliding doors could easily be opened from the outside so we kept the lamp on all night to make it look like someone was still up, The pool area is brilliant plenty of sun loungers but the mattresses are 1euro a day :(, my son was in the pool all week and it's spotlessly clean. There is a bar and snacks r available but we never really used it but dingy looking to be honest. Reception only open at certain times which is a pain, it was closed when we arrived place looked locked up bit scary if I'm honest lol but there's a poster telling you were to go to get your keys and a code for the gate altho you do have to walk past all the smelly bins :(((( but once you are in it's great. Local super market right next door it's very reasonably priced and there's a purple turtle pub just a couple off doors up the hill, the food in there is lovely, also done the grand tour while here booked at reception for 45 euro a long day out but worth visiting, we had a fab holiday and I'd defo stay here again...
