Was in Lanzarote for a week in the middle of Jan. My friiends and i just decided last minute and booked a cheap holiday so wern´t expecting much. We were happy with our rooms and the pool was gorgeous but we had to be up early to get a sunbed!

If you walk down towards the old town there is a centre called Montana Tropical and we didnt go further as the craic was excellent :) Mario´s was really good for food and also The Crafty Cow was great for real home cooked food. They have music on most nights and the family that run it are very friendly. Always went out of there way for us. Its easy to see why its so busy! We never left the place.

Would highly recommend this hotel for a fun holiday and will definitely return next year :)

This is the 2nd time of going to the flora, and would def go back, norm it is just my husband and myself but this year we took our 14yr old grandson think that was not a gd idea as there was nothing there for him to do but luckily he loves swimming so he was ok, food has always been good you will always find something tgo eat,not alot of entertainment for the adults but always something going on for the kids of a evening, anna on rec is brilliant lucy in restaraunt is really nice no fault at all with any of the staff always willing to help you,it is cheaper and easier to get a taxi to / from the hotel to the airport only app 16 euro there are 2 beaches nr with in 10/15 min walk 1 st beach is nice but 2nd is better lovely sand only bad thing on that beach is the cost of sun beds and parrasols 2 beds and parasols 10 euros we thought that bit much as it cost 15 euros for us 3 but much better than laying on the sand 1st coulpe of days were cloudy but then the sun came out but it was the 2nd wk in feb we love this hotel and looking forward to going back next year, cheaper to get the bus to the towns just outside the hotel, tequise market on a sunday isa must notknown a market like it,1 more thing if your all inclusive and going out for the day tell them at rec b4 6pm the night b4 and ask 4 a packed lunch, but you will need butter as they dont put butter in the sandwiches. hope you have a good holiday.

where do i start. The Flora is a lovely bright attractive place and we cannot fault anything about it,clean, spotless room, great maid service despite other reviews, food very nice for a/inc always hot plus lovely selection of salads if you cant be pleased.staff were ok although the girls edgy at first get them laughing and they are brill, just remember to take back your glass when you need another drink as they ask for it to wash up,pool area nice was quiet around pool but was mostly adults.a bit of a walk to main strip but some lovely views, some nice local bars nearer also.really enjoyed ourselves here, well done to all at The Flora.need anymore help just email.

Returned this week from our 2nd holiday at the Flora and just as good as the first time. Excellent location for us as we are a couple of wrinklies (way the wrong side of 60!) but fit with it, so we enjoyed the walk up and down the hill to the harbour and beaches, especially enjoyed the clifftop walk to Puerto Calero(approx 45 mins depending on how often you stop to admire the view). Also, as we don't bother hiring a car, the bus stops just down the road from the hotel - very useful as the bus service into Arrecife, Playa Blanca, Teguise etc. is brilliant. The location suits us as it is fairly quiet but only about a 15 min walk to the livelier area of the beaches etc. We found the staff at the hotel friendly and obliging - a request for an extra pillow each was met immediately and a 'picnic' breakfast provided on our last morning as we had to leave for the airport before the restaurant opened. We thought the food was excellent and can't think why anyone would complain about it - the chef needs to be congratulated on the variety and quality of food provided. OK some things are a little bit different from home but why go abroad and expect everything to be British? If you prefer a quieter room then I would recommend Flora 2 across the road with its adult pool as the main area looked very busy whenever we came through. Can't comment on the entertainment as we didn't participate (probably too shattered after all that walking!). Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable - no cockroaches! Towels changed several times and sheets once in the week, outside ares constantly being swept and cleaned. Another great holiday - well done Flora, will certainly try to come back!

Having read most of the reviews on this site we were a bit wary about going to these apartments but fear not they were excellent. All inclusive food - we couldnt fault it - always found something to eat - breakfast either continental or full scottish - fish most days - meat dishes every day - sometimes we preferred the lunch to dinner and loved the canarian fish and canarian potatores - yum! Staff were excellent - maybe one or two dour faces but once we had chatted to them they were fine. Room service was very good - towels changed every day except Wednesdays and Saturdays - sheets changed twice (we were there for 2 weeks). Met lots of nice guests - cant believe the comment further back about obese/elderly topless guests - everyone can do what the heck they like on holiday - if he is looking for totty try Magaluf in July/August - he can see all he wants there! Christina and Alexis tried their best with the entertainment and if you didnt take it too seriously it was not that bad - mini disco hasnt changed since we took our kids 20 years ago ha ha but we finally gave in to the daft dance at the end on our last night! The children enjoyed it which is what its all about. All in all we had a great holiday - weather disappointed a bit but when the sun came out it was hot.
