Arrived to be told we were double booked. Family with young children infront of us were being told there were no 2bedrooms left they could have 2 1bedroom. Later in week we met family from Ireland who were also double booked and shipped to Loma Blanco like ourselves. Our holiday was booked only a few weeks ago so it seemed the over booking was a way to fill their older, smaller hotels. On reading Karls review of the week it seems we landed in a better place.

Whats with all these bad reviews of this great complex?

We stayed here in June 2013 for the 2nd time, and are returning in November again.
This place is Great !!!,
Food is Good Value for the money you pay, different options every day.
Free Booze ( not the best but does the job ), entertainment crew are brilliant ...always have something for kids and adults alike.(Killer pool, Darts, Water Polo, Archery, Shooting, Bowls)
You just gotta join in and meet new people.
Room was spotless when we stayed, no sign of Cockroaches, we stayed just above Reception.
Staff always was polite from Reception to Restaurant nothing was too much trouble.
Nightly Entertainment is good too, the Parrot show is a Scream especially when they don't do as they are told Ha-Ha-Ha
Only thing the bingo prizes could be a bit better, Try a cash bingo at 8pm instead of the bottle of bubbly.
The Cocktails for prizes are not the greatest, give us a drink of choice instead please.
Yes the Lilos at the poolside are a bit hard to get but the staff do try especially the Life Guard but not a lot you can do if he is facing 5 guys shouting at him for moving there towels.

On the whole this is a Great Place to Holiday and I can highly recommend it

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the Reception side, if you get too much to drink its easier than walking up to the top end of the complex

Reception staff were amazing, very polite and helpful, the rooms were OK, the cleaning left a lot to be desired, dirty towels left by maid, bedding was ragged and tatty, had to have the mattress changed as the springs were popping through, dirty mop in the bathroom stained with human mess, wouldn't stay here again due to the poor cleanliness, ,

Room Tip: go somewhere else for a decent room

stayed here from 4th Aug for 1 week, if you would like your holiday to include the following then stay here!!!
live on chicken and chips all week as there isnt much else to choose from and food very poor, doesnt cater for children, encounted rude staff ie Juana in dining room and one or two rude maids (clearly dont like the english) choice of 2 juices for children the rest you have to pay for! lack of decent snacks, unless you want to pay! ice cream tubs included in fully inclusive , but a huge freezer entising children with the prefered variety NOT included !! fighting for sunbeds everyday is the norm from 8am until the sunbeds are realised at 10am, once the staff have finished cleaning around the pool area and the swimming pool !! having to ask for change of towels ! loss of water on two days, and when running a bath for my daughters the water was yellow!
night time entertainment was rubbish and on the last night, guests were very dunk and stripping off !!! not something im keen on my children seeing
queing for dinner and lunch as the dining room wasnt big enough to cater for the whole complex, if you can find a chair that isnt broken to sit on when dining.
being rushed to finish food as the staff just wanted you out to get people in!
And on two seperate days there was tree cutting around pool areas,(why would that be done in high season!!!!)
the only thing that was good about this holiday was the weather, the fact that my children had a lovely time making new friends, and the beach is amazing but quite a walk, uphill on your return!
wont be returning, not worth the money, should be a 2 star NOT 3
great if you want a holiday thats tipical of brits abroard in Benidorm!!!
