“Good food, good value, family run”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

We nicknamed this 'no pressure', as the owner and his family welcomed you without hassling you - unlike most of the others around the old port! The food was good quality at a good price and great service. Anthony's father caught the fish, brothers cooked and served it, mother made terrific alioli and desserts, and cheese was from grandfathers farm! Don't know how true all that was but made you feel as if you were part of the (hardworking) family. Free brandy was pretty good too!

“One of the best restaurants on harbour”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

One of the best restaurants you could go to.
The owner is very professional. Although the menu is large, the food is all fresh.
The specials are to die for.
Every dish explained
Big family owned restaurant.
The home cooking is simply amazing.
The service is top class.
Would have eaten here every night no problem. We did go twice !!!
Well worth a visit..... and you will return.
Value for money is fantastic.
Family of 5 adults. We had starters, main course. two deserts, wine and beers, water, soft drink all for €104. Wont get better than that. Thanks for great meals
Congrats to all there for a fantastic place.
We well return

“perfect mix”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

lovely family restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. they let you walk by without tryin to hassle you in, instead you get a friendly hello please feel free to look at the menu and any questions please ask. when you do go in they as other reviewers have said greet you like old friends and you feel a warm welcome.
the prices of food and drink we have found are very reasonably priced and the food is of a great quality. they Will also go out their way where possible to help cater for the younger or fussier eater. it is also situated to very small children's play area but its a great visual reward to get the younger ones to eat up to have a play :-)
i have been a number of times over the years and this year 3x in the last 7days. you just can't beat good service and hospitality.

“Ambience is the USP”
Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

A tightly contested harbour location offering the same tapas, local fish, pasta dishes as the others wins due to skills of Anthony, a greeter with subtle skills. Not for foodies, great for people watching.
