We went here 4 years ago & it was excellent, went back May 2013 & it was just crap.We did notice when we went in that it was very quiet compared to the last time we were there.
Don`t know if they changed the chef or what but i was served my seafood soup with a dead Mussel in it, dead because it wasn`t open, the sausages were not cooked through & when i told the waiter was told quite abruptly that "we are trying" . We made a trip from Matagorda just to eat there cos the seafood soup was so good first time around but we certainly won`t be back.

service was fairly poor, waiter was lacking personality and was lurking about ready to pounce on our plates at all times. meal was fairly bland, ordered grouper, got the plaice, said nothing! fish was yum though. mam ordered chicken, was awful, rubbery balls with watery sauce. not a nice experience

Went back to this restraunt after eating here many times on our last visit (3 years ago) when we were accompained by my son daughter in law and grand child and I have to say it is still the same friendly place that we enjoyed then. Service and food still excellent

Away from the port this restaurant is located on the hill. We had steak and fish here on our first night in Lanzarote. We had bread to start (garlic) and a litre of house wine. The dessert we shared (two spoons...romantic and economical at the same time) and a cappucino and latte....all for 43 euros. The waiter brought two shots of a very tasty local brew....nice touch and something they do in lots of places. No rush to get you out, very relaxed, you get the feeling they are delighted to have you. Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere, good wine....so we went back another night even though it is off the beaten track
