Stayed here end Sept 2012

Location of complex is well situated above the Harbour looking out to sea, a stones throw away from loads of bars, 20 odd coastal sunset view resturants plus many more, shops, shopping centre, and supermarkets and the main bus services, there is plenty of parking nearby for hire cars too.

Out and about
A 20-30 minute walk from the complex will take you to the 'Strip' where there is a long sandy beach with bars, shops, restrurants galore to suit every one.
Harbour offers a Waterbus to a nearby town and marina for 10E return - lovely way to spend 1/2 a day. Buses to Arriciffe, Puerto Blanca run every 20 - 30 mins catch at the main shopping centre. 6E to Puerto blanca for the market, marina, shops, resturants - could easily be a day trip.
Average prices beer and a wine 5E, dinner incl drinks 25-40E for 2 where ever we went

Complex is mixed use with what seemed equal measure of Timeshare self catering and package All Inclusive holiday makers.

Be advised it does form part of a steep hill and there is no level access, though all literature I have seen does advise it is not suitable for walking difficulties. That said it is 20 plus steps to the Reception/bar/pool from the street (level 2), over 80 steps to level 5 and over a hundred to level 6, odd number floors have a patio off the walk way with garden, evens have a balcony, both get the sun all day.

Check in is efficent if lacking in warmth. Reception also housed a guest library and internet access 1E for 12 mins, 2E for 30mins, plus an information guide to buses and attactions.
Pool seemed to be under used, did overhear comments of it being very cold. sun beds are gererally reserved by 9am, pool is adjacent to resturant so many bring down towels when going for breakfast, there is a limited number of fixed 'brollies' that said not one day did we had both every day.

Cant comment on the food, we did not eat there, however, we did see some menues and they seemed ok. there is an offer of a fixed price per course ie 5E breakfast etc, or £30 pppd for All Incl.
Bar area an indoor with stage for evening entertainment and outdoor which also served as an extention of the dinning room. There was very little atmosphere and after the 1st couple of night didnt use again, the daytime entertainment was only offered to the hotel guests and seemed poor, the evening was advertised as Kareoke or bingo style events.
Appartments (used for all guests) if self catering they are below what would be expected, only the absolute bear minimum of crockery / cutlery, 1 not so sharp bent kitchen knife, no scissors, no dustpan and brush and ONLY 1 SOCKET IN THE KITCHEN, actually it's not it is over the dinning table, under the microwave which is installed on a bracket over the table. only 3 people can sit at the table, you choose between tea or toast you cant make both. there are 2 other sockets, 1 by the bed and the bedroom door or by the patio door, applices would need to be on the floor! Full sized oven but only 2 ring hob. Remote control has to be hired and a satalite option is offered, safe is E42 for 2 weeks. Cleaning is done most days with bins emptied, floor swept, towels replaced ad hoc, sheets every 3 days or so... Cant think anyone would need more, the complex is kept clean and tidy.

Would I go back, oh yes but would request floor 3 or 4, its faults are easily over come by most people and there is bars and eateries so close that there is no need to stay in, would definately return to the area.

Room Tip: for views go with even numbers and balcony no shade at all, if you want a bit of shade odd numbers...

We stayed at the Aquarius for 3 weeks, we flew out on the 20th of September to lovely weather. We stayed in the Room 623 for nights, we went to reception to be asked to be moved as it was far too noisy!! The gentleman at reception was fantastic he moved us to Room 422 which was fabulous. Going back on the 3rd of February hopefully get this room again.

We stayed self-catering which was brilliant as the restuarants round about these apartments are fantastic. Bodenzo's being our favourite.

Weather was excellent, and we both love the big swimming pool, cannot wait to go back.

Room Tip: Rooms 400 are excellent.

Just stopped at the Bellevue apartments last week for a 2nd time. Had a brilliant week the entertainment from 'jon joe' especially the bingo was interesting..... Food was excellent and the spirit measures where on the large side, with sevvie being the main culprit! In a a good location to the local restaurants with the nearest 'Bozena's' being sensational. Watch out for Hulio the resident ginger and white cat with the distinctive scar, be sure to save some meat from the all inclusive. Great value for money will be back again for sure.

Stayed here for a week with my husband in June. Well where do i start. First room we had was stuffy with a little fan in but clean, settee had seen better days. Was moved to a room right up the top of hotel which was lovely with air con, reason for move woken up in middle of the night with a 4 inch cockroach in my hair i freaked right out. Manager was really apologetic and moved us straight away. The food omg worse all inclusive ive ever stayed in chips burgers chips sausages chips pork, jelly icecream jelly icecream. I think you get the drift, you only had a few choices each meal time. The drinks, coke flat all the time, vodka was so bad i would rather drink paint stripper, wine ok, beer ok. Entertainment worse ive ever seen, a quiz for half an hour in the evening that it. only about 10 people would turn up. The pool was clean but freezing, you could easily get a sun bed. Would i stay here again, NEVER. I would go back to lanzarote any day but not at this place.

Just stopped in the apartments last week, all inclusive. Had a great time, food and drink was superb!! Watch out for the slippy baths though, when you are taking a shower. Look out for Seve the waiter/bar man, he is a legend!!

Room Tip: If you are spending alot of time at the bar and by the pool. Request a room close to reception.

Right-went to Belle vue with family from 30th September to 9th October, half-board and I can honestly say I rate this place well. yes ok it may need a bit of a refurb in places but remember this is Spain not the UK, Florida or Dubai, I seriously think alot of tourists get spoiled by going to such places as Dubai, you cannot compare it to a three-star in Spain.
Anyway we had rooms on the third level, lovely view out to sea and Fuerteventura, nice terrace, safe for kids and good for a pre-dinner evening drink. Rooms inside a bit worn, but I put that down more to some visitors rather than the hotel. well equipped kitchen, bedrooms ok, and bathroom always had hot water. thanks to Han the cleaner we always had plenty of towels.
Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice and good.
Evening meal not so bad, if you want gourmet food you got to go out to a restaurant, remember they are cooking for a hotel.
Staff are good, reception helpful and friendly, particualarly Ivo and Sarah from Ireland.
Restaurant staff are worth a mention-good with the kids and always got a smile.
Last but not least is Giorgio-before you criticise the entertainment remember Giorgio is working alone with no help, he is making an effort and its not always appreciated(rude drunk guests). Give this man credit he tries hard, he is willing and given some assistance he would do well.
A good location, close to the harbour area, but far enought to not hear noise.
You can do much worse than book here, I would go again.

Room Tip: Not for disabled or elderly as there are many steps and a hill to walk up from the harbour. Dont sta...
