we went to the bellevue on the 6th sept for 14 days there were 15 of us we arrived at 9-30 pm we all got booked in ok and received the rooms we asked for good start.Rooms were clean and had more than we were used to in an ai hotel,I must say this any one thinking of going here with anyone with walking or disability problems please dont as it is quite hilly and steep. The staff here are very very good Michael, Sara, and me old mate Sergi(Happy) we had a few problems with our rooms but credit where credits due they were dealt with without fuss so well done to them. The only downfall we found with this hotel was the entertainment well Georgio tried his best but i,m afraid entertainment is not his best quality ha ha.Their are some lovely beaches here not to far away from the hotel also the night life is good for the younger people the people are warm and welcoming. If you fancy a boat trip go down the harbour and see Anli he runs the mini dolphin trips great day out and seen the dolphins close up.We hired a minibus for 2 days as there were 15 of us broke me heart 2 days of the drink however it was great and the price of hire cars excellent.Well i guess that is all i can say would i recomend this hotel yes i would they donot deserve all the bad reviews they get the rooms are spacious and clean and your towels are changed every 2 days and sheets 2 a week. Hope all that go enjoy it as we did

Room Tip: From the second floor up you have a sea view where you can see most things i was in 520 great view b...

We stayed at the Aquarius from the 23/8/2012 for a week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

On arrival we were greeted at the reception by a very friendly & helpful guy who had us checked in in no time & given all the information we needed for our stay.

We were allocated room number 402 & to be honest could find nothing to complain about.Yes...the rooms are basic but they are clean & comfortable with everything you need. The views from the apartment are stunning & the whole complex was so quiet & relaxed, just what you need for your stay.

So to the food in the restaurant...in a word, excellent.Different dishes every evening & plenty of choice. There was nothing boring about the food as reported on some other reviews.

The staff...brilliant.From the reception staff to the restaurant staff & the bar staff, everyone was so polite & helpful & nothing was too much trouble.I have to give a special mention to Sarah who was so friendly & helpful & really looked after us throughout our stay (if you read this Sarah, the Aloe Vera is brilliant)

So...in conclusion,I would recommend the Aquarius apartments to anyone.Great value, clean, comfortable, relaxed, good food & great staff who go the extra mile...how many times have you had a nice bottle of wine & lovely card left at your door by the hotel managment & staff on your anniversary ?Really nice touch I thought.

just returned from a fortnight at this hotel - the rooms are in serious need of an update but the staff were extremely helpful in both the restaurant and bars, im afraid the reviews previously regarding the entertainment are so true ... if you want entertainment you need to go out of the hotel to find it. the pool is nice and yes its true most of the time sunbeds are available. we had ants in the bath and saw a few cockroaches around the pool and bar area. Not sure I would return unless all rooms etc are updated. The port area is lovely and gives the resort character but for any of you that are not fit (me included) the stairs are a real trial ... we were on 5th floor and in the heat its a real bind having to climb all those stairs .. theres lots!

Room Tip: there have been some rooms updated i would ask for one of those when booking

Just had a fabulous second all-inclusive holiday here.

This time we were in an upraded room which was stunning. . . . Boutique style oatmeal colours, brand new kitchen, walkin shower, flat screen TV, sheltered balcony, air-con. . . . .

Staff as previously were polite and helpful.

Food was beautifully cooked and plentiful, especially enjoyed the traditional Canarian meal.

Drinks were generous good measures.

Entertainment was much better than last year with some really good acrobatic acts and a lovely entertainer Georgio who worked very hard day and evening to involve kids and adults alike.

The pool is very deep, and as a week swimmer I was reassured by the constant presence and supervision of a lifeguard.

Even mid August we never struggled to get a sunbed.

The hotel guests were a mix of English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, French, Austrian and German people, and everyone I spoke to was having a lovely holiday and was enthusiastic about the hotel and food.

Although owned by a major Spanish chain this isn't like a large chain hotel. I find staying here has the feel of being in a sort of (very well run) club.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - particularly at the prices charged - all inclusive for 3 for around about the cost of a premier inn room!

We will, most definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend stopped here 25th July - 1st Aug. When we checked in it was quick and easy and were told we were on the 5th floor, no lift so thats a casual 92 steps to your apartment! But we saw it as a way of working off all the food! :)

THE ROOM:
The room was basic and a little outdated I guess. Had everything you need, a bedroom, shower/bath, a cooker (but we were all inclusive so didnt use), a sofa and a tv. You have to pay for the TV and hire a remote. We didn't bother with that. There is no air con. 2 ceiling fans. Lanzarote is hot and this can make it hard to sleep but it was ok. You also have a little patio or balcony and a clothes airer for swimwear etc. Rooms were cleaned every day except thursday and sunday./

THE FOOD:
The food we found was generally good, breakfast is cold meats, yoghurt, rolls, cooked stuff. Every meal has one large selection of hot food, and another of cold. You help yourself to juices and water at breakfast. Lunch and dinner is waiter service. There is theme nights such as bbq, chinese and mexican. These are lovely. There is only one restaurant but we never had a problem getting a table, and the waiting staff were very quick to clear tables and re-lay them. Like others have said, a lot of chicken and pork, chips with every meal and the puddings are lots of little cakes, mousses and ice cream.

THE DRINKS:
We didn't know what to expect being all inclusive, but as the week went on we must of got through a fair few bottles of sangria..! Spirits are local, malibu, whiskey, gin, port etc. At night theres a choice of 3 cocktails, all sweet and rather strong in my opinion. Drinks are served in plastic cups throughout the day and night except when you are served drinks with your meal. This made sense in my opinion as lots of adults had drinks by their sunloungers and there were plenty of kids running around the pool.

THE LOCATION:
The hotel is located in old town. Theres lots of pubs, restaurants and bars but there is a more private harbour area which we unfortunately didnt find until our last but one night. Walk down the back of the hotel past the gym, down towards the funfair and turn left... lots of high quality restaurants and amazing fresh fish places if you like that sort of thing. The beach is about a 15 minute walk, but nice when you get there, lovely swimming in the sea but it is COLD because its the atlantic ocean.

OVERALL:
We enjoyed staying in this clean hotel. Staff were always pleasant, the pool was huge, there was activities on the night such as kareoke, animal show, singers and dancers, food was good and there is plenty to do outside the hotel in lanzarote. Would come back to lanzarote, probably would stay again. Dont hesitate to book or let the bad reviews put you off, they are written by people who like to moan at every little thing :-) OH an definitely do the catlanza boat trip excursion... picks up right by the hotel... best day of our holiday! FAB!! xx

If I would be in charge of putting stars to that place I will have to invent a new category between a public dump and a cockroaches nest.
All your worst nightmares become true.
It's dirty everywhere you put your eyes on. And if it's not, it's a least dusty, rusty, broken or all 3 together.

If you think it would be ok since you will not be in your room all the time then again you're wrong. The pool water is kind of yellow and young people from social houses around come to play and to use the pool (there is no security).

The restaurant: I just can't rate it since - once again - I'll have to invent a category. I've never seen something like this in real. It does however exist in a French movie called "L'aile ou la cuisse" when de Funes is being forced to eat crap by the landlords and got its food
poisonning.
Windows restaurant are closed with old fashioned curtains that you would't even buy for your attic. Food taste plastic. Employees wear dirty clothes.

I was surprised how people where happy to be there but maybe it is because they are used to drink so much that they forget where they are. Proof is the fact they order 15 beers at 22.55 just 5 minutes before the bar closes.

Icing of the cake: the view on the dirty harbor.

Important : NO AIR CONDITIONING but rusty and noisy fans.

Room Tip: just don't go there

My financee and I had a fabulous time here and it was our first stay in lanzorote and won't be the last now! The rooms are large and well decorated with all self catoting facilities although we were all inclusive. They also had an iron and hairdryer which came in useful. We were on 6th floor and the views were great and you had the sun all evening. The bed sheets and towels were changed the 6 days out of the 7 whilst we were there so lovely to come back to every evening. The food was great in the restaurant, smaller choice than other places I've been to but the quality of the meats were fantastic, lunches and dinners were different everyday we were there ranging from seafood pialla, chicken legs, turkey rounds, ribs, beef, pork, i couldnt wait to c what the evening meal was every night. The all inclusive drinks were good, ESP red and white wines and the beer and the spirits were strong as I watched my man drink himself to sleep with Bacardi and cokes one nite!

The staff were lovely from the moment we got there to the end and especially the entertainment staff! We miss Sarah and Georgio who made our hols with all their day and night events to include body packs, aqua aerobics, french boules, water polo, quizzes where u can win champagne and a great band whilst we were there! Loved the pool and never swam so much because it is so big so always quiet space to yourself. It is deep for most of it but front bit is ok for a while!

You could always get sunbeds and the pool is a good location to the pool bar. They play some music sometimes but never too loud and just a nice level.

And that's just the hotel, a short 5 minute walk away, you have some fantastic restaurants and bars by the marina and then just past those you had a lovely rock
Pool, then a small beach on its own ideal for snorkelling and then the main beach which goes on for about 5 miles and which also has the strip along it with all bars, clubs and restsurants. Really recommend bar ola for the day and their restaurant at night which is above it also overlooking the sea.

And of course we met some fantastic people whilst there, Chris and Isla ftom
Wales who we met on the first day and spent the week with and everyone will remember the Dutch boys Johan and G who made everyone's hols who were there! Also want to mention andy from Poland, the Warrington family and a great fella from
Essex who made the hols fun!

Best hols ever and can't wait to go back next year!
