“ace place to go”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

my girlfreind and i spent a week at the bva, before booking we read up on all the reveiws that were posted ,about 97% of them were very good , weve been to puerto before but never the old town .. tranfer by taxi 16euro and 10 min drive , all we can say is this place is ACE, rooms are tidy and clean ,yes there are alot of steps involved in gettin to your room but we didnt find it a prob . the bar staff are very freindly and chatty ,great measures and the beer is v cold , the food is lovely starting from breakfast wich has a choose of fuit cereal and a gr8 fry up ... dinner is brill inc pasta ,hot fries ,fresh chicken and none of those horrib pizzas u normally get on all inc, wine is freely available with waiter service . evenig meals were fab ,to much choose to go into to .. we ate out 1 night in the week ,dont no why .lol... but a fabulous italian just 5 min walk away called BODECOS ..there is entertainment day and night all done by george this guy works really hard to keep u smiling ..wat a guy ....any way enough said , book it and go U WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED . soon as ive saved up were goin back for more we loved it

Room Tip: try and get rooms 310 to 320 gr8 sea veiws

we arrived on sunday 20/0512 for a 9nite all inc stay, our transfers were with Jumbo tranfers (lanzarote) Thank you Lisa ( your an unsung hero) for the start of a great stay, All to often the ppl who work in the background dont get the appreciation they deserve. from the moment we arrived at the Aquarius we were made to feel we'd been there before. from the reception staff, dinning room staff, bar staff & house keeping staff, we had a great response in anything that we asked or requested. The meals breakfast, lunch & dinner were all well presented, the choice to fit 99.99% of ppl's palate. Me being an eat anything nd my wife being quite fussy we had no trouble in finding something to suit one's palate.....the pool area was patroled by a lifeguard within the times the pool was open.....sun loungers were a plenty. A very short walk and you were in the harbour area by day a relaxxing place to enjoy what was on offer, by night a pleasent and vibrant spot to take in the sounds of various music tastes. thanx to all for a restfull stay in our favourite destination.....

like i have read before rooms are tired, needs a facelift, but the place was clean, staff were great, good meals, easy to relax, i will go back to stay again no problem. ps ,a lot of steps ,not really for the elderly or pushchairs.

Room Tip: book a room on a lower floor,(pool level)

I just came back off a two week holiday in may 2012. I have two daughters aged. 9 and 11. I found the reception staff from the start completely rude and un willing to help with any quieries or help I needed. My 11 eleven year old sliced off the skin off the ball of her foot from the broken or missing tiles in pool, when I informed the staff no one was willing to help or give me any assistance to get my girl to doctor, when I went to complain I was told it was not their responsibility that this happened to her but in fact it was my fault for letting her play in the pool. I warn anybody going here to be wary as this hotel have no customer service skills what so ever and once they have your money they do not care one iota.

Stayed at the BelleVue Aquarius on 14th May for a week all inc .The service we received from every member of staff was excellent. We had a small problem with the ceiling fan on the first night which we reported and it was sorted very quickly, if you have a problem report it and give them chance to sort it out rather than moaning about it when you get home Apartments were very clean. The food was always red hot and had no problem finding something tasty to eat at every meal.Seven of us stayed here for my Daughter's 21st Birthday including Granparents in their 70's and every one of us had a great holiday .

Room Tip: Some apartments involve a lot of steps ,so if you have a problem with stairs request a low floor.

first of all we had a week all inclusive in this hotel and i would say that the room were cleanish and the staff were quite friendly and helpful but the disappointing thing was the food there was very little choice available and the standards was'nt 5 star or even 3 star and the times are ridculous breakfast from 8-10 then dinner 1-3 then tea at 7-9 and there is a snack bar but you have to pay for any snacks which is riduculous when its an all inclusive hotel needless to say i won't be going back i stopped in lanzarote bay a couple of years ago and that was a million miles better than this for a similar price .also in the group of people we went with 3 out of 4 rooms some fans were not working which is bad as there is no air con anywhere which is hard when its notching up 44 degrees

Room Tip: close to the pool as there are steps and lots of them

Just back from a week holiday 12-19th may, was on the 4th floor room 508 and had amazing views, even tho there was a sand cloud over Fuerteventura. Hotel was very clean, yes room was dated and probs not up to everyone standards, but my opinion was it was great, clean sheets and towels, didnt see any cockroaches in the room, only outside and there wasnt that many (must of been lucky), staff was great and all very friendly had to call for maintenance twice and the guy was there within 5mins. the pool was deep (well deep for me who is only 5ft) only shallow part was the steps going in and the toddler pool, lifeguard never left his post all day, even his lunch was fetched out for him. Food was good, breakfast was continental and english, but sadly no fried eggs, lunch/dinner there was plenty of choice salads, fish, meat, veg, rice oh and chips and fruit...Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and away from the pool, no need to put your towels on, there was always beds somewhere throughout the day..Pool bar opened at 10am and closed at 8pm then the inside bar opened, shame really if wanted to stop outside, means you had to keep walking into the entertainment room for a drink..Me personally didnt think much of the entertainment, poor George wasnt to blame, he did what he could, bless him :)
Location was excellent, plenty of bars/food near by, nice stroll down to the harbour and then along into the new town.

Room Tip: no lifts so remember to email them if you need a ground floor room
