My wife and I have eaten at Las Vegasin an evening before and always found it to be top class, but today just reinforced how top class and dedicated to the highest standards the place is. We had decided to take a morning stroll, and, as chance would have it, on the way back, we noticed that the folks at Las Vegas were setting up. We had a spot or two to visit, but decided to return in a few minutes and see whther it was going to be OK to pause for a beer and a light bite. This we did, and not only were we welcomed with open arms, nut the table was set for us as though we were going to indulge in one of Las Vegas sumptuous evening meals. Instead, we had a couple of beers and a Brie toasted sandwich (doesn't sound much, does it?) and I plumped for the stuffed red pepper.
Imagine our surprise when the presentation of the "toastie" turned out to be top class, and it was no ordinary sandwich, and, likewise, the simple idea of a stuffed pepper was presented in full-on five star style - and it was certainly worth much more than the paltry two euro price. If this is how the other half lives, than I want to join the other half. For two star prices, you get five star treatment and food and presentation. If I would have recommended Las Vega before, consider that recommendation trebled and diamond studded - Las Vegas is truly an oasis in a desert of mediocrity in PDC.
