Very nice food and friendly service. Good fish on the menu ('seabaars' ). It helps that you can speak English :). And next to our appartment barcarola club. Will come back for the steak to try.

This is an excellent little restaurant set back from the main strip. It doesn't look too inviting but I really recommend you giving it a go. If you are in a hurry dont bother as they have a small kitchen and it takes time, but if you like good food and a chat with the waiters and other people then this is the place for you. The fillet steak is the best you will find anywhere and is cheap, there is a good selection on the menu of both fish, meat and vegetarian. The nights we went they had a couple of flamenco guitarists who played a few songs and then passed round the hat. They were good as well.

All in all well worth the wander in

Found this restaurant by chance while we out for a stroll through the souvenir shops. We opted for a nice bottle of redwine that was on the table when we arrived. An excellent menu with otions for both tradiotional and more adventurous tastes. Very friendly and efficient service. Wasn't very busy the first night we went there. Returned a few days later and it was very busy but there was no drop in the efficiency of service. The staff made us feel even more welcome on the second visit and were obviously pleased that we had returned

We ate here twice in May, first time steaks were both very good, second time one was decent but mine was dried out even though both were ordered medium rare. Only one person in the kitchen perhaps he needs help, especially when it's busy. Service was slow too
