Description: Idyllic setting, with amazing views over the sea is what awaits you at Highlander TOO... located in the popular Montana Tropical centre in the Old Town area of Puerto del Carmen. Once down the central ramp you will be met by beautiful well kept decorative gardens, the centre piece being a well stocked pond with huge Koi Carp, Goldfish, Tropical Fish, Miniature Shark, Cray Fish and now the addition of 2 Piranha. Domino (the Highlander TOO) cat may be around too for a pet or two. During certain months Lanzarote's Native Parrots can also be seen flying between the great palm trees. This is an enclosed complex which makes it extremely child friendly, with a Children's Play area during the summer months. The centre and Highlander Too have all disabled facilities. Relax in a safe and chilled out atmosphere. The terrace gets more than its fair share of sun... so no compromise if you don't make it to the beach. However, if you don't want the heat, there is a shaded undercover area too. Smokers are catered for too, with their own area filled with comfortable Sofas. Music videos play all day with tunes from all decades. There are regular Quizzes and Karaoke. Above all, this is a chilled out place to eat good value homemade food including vegetarian and gluten free menus, in a very relaxed atmosphere.

We went Here to the Highlander Too for Christmas Dinner and it was fantastic, how they got the food out hot for so many people is beyond me, the good thing about Christmas dinner is for every one to sit around one table and all eat at the same time and this is what we got at the Highlander Too, it was like eating and celabrating with one big fammily. We didnt thankyou enough Sharron and didnt visit you enough either, next time this WILL NOT happen, love the highlander too and any onewho goes there will have a warm welcome and as the other reviews have stated they cant do enough for you.

We had a great time in the Highlander Too with an excellent garden for an afternoon drink & a warm welcome from all of the staff. The food is great especially the Fish & chips on a Friday. The staff sure make you welcome. Is there anyone out there who can meet the challenge of going through the Cocktail list Laura tryed but failed miserably after 5/12 cocktails but had a bit of fun with James laying down the challenge. We will be returning for another go next year.

We stayed only 2 minutes walk from the complex where Highlander 2 is located and we quickly discovered it was by far the best place to go. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is great. Their menu has a great selection and includes a choice of their very own home-made pies. Nothing is any trouble to them and if you feel like a full breakfast at 7pm, they'll happily make it for you. The drinks on offer are all brand names and very reasonably priced. The measures - it has to be said - are nothing short of outstanding, and one new customer who asked for a 'double' was advised by the staff to try a 'single' first and then decide; he didn't upgrade! Their amusingly named cocktails are highly recommended for an afternoon treat and will ensure you leave merry. They also do a weekly barbecue which is very popular, so you ensure you get there early before it's all gone. We were there over the festive season and for New Year they ensured everyone had a good time by dishing out loads of party stuff and free drinks. We know for sure that Highlander Too will be our 'local' when we return to Lanzarote. It really is a home from home.

I would like to start by saying a great big Thank you.
Both my staff and myself do endeavor to do absolutely anything in our power to make everyone's stay a memorable one and for the right reasons. Leahs homemade pies are becoming renowned and the batter on our fish too. So when someone takes the time to write about all we do....it makes us all feel we are doing something right.
Once again thank you and hope to see you again very soon
