My partner and I stopped off at Paddy's for some dinner. The specials posted on the chalk board looked appetizing and we went for the Guinness & Steak Pie and Turkey & Ham roast.
The food was homemade and really was delicious; I couldn't fault it and at 10.95 and 9.95 Euros, respectively for the meals, it represented great value for money.
The drinks, however, were grossly overpriced.
If we take two of the most expensive places in Puerto Del Carmen as a comparison - Dreams and Cafe La Ola - both of which are bigger, right on the sea front with stunning views and excellent ambiance.
Domestic draft Beer - Paddy price 3.50 - Elsewhere 2.00
Glass of white wine - Paddy price 4.00 - Elsewhere 2.45
Irish Coffee - Paddy Price 6.50 - Elsewhere 4.90
I would probably eat there again, but I wouldn't drink, because on a regular night I would save 30 Euros, have a better view and comfier surroundings.
