Food amazing! The night we ate there it was busy so service towards the end was a little slow but with great tapas and good recommendations from the staff it's not a big issue! Anyone wanting tapas in puerto del carmen must try here!

Genuinely awful, how this is number one I will never ever know, small quaint place fair enough but the food was deep fried processed rubbish that tasted of nothing. Anyone who raved about their food clearly has had their taste buds removed or were steaming drunk, save your money for mcdonalds or the taxi fare home. BOKE

We came here based on trip advisor reviews and it was the worst meal we'd had our entire time in lanzarote. Food was horrifically bad, in particular the king prawns in crumbs and honey glaze, otherwise known as king prawn in 6 inch greasy batter. I'd advise anyone with half a taste bud to avoid here at all costs. We ate at 'Oriental World' the night before (ranked 8) and it was superb in every sense of the word.
We just about escaped with our underwear diarrhoea free! Don't do it to yourselves. BRUTAL.

This has got to be one of the best restaurants in PDC. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is dominated by the excellent choice of Tapas dishes. We ordered 5 between us and they were all absolutley amazing. It was not the "usual" tapas of meatballs, prawns etc but stunningly presented and tasty dishes that made you want more. We had a chicken, papaya and pistacio dish, a lamb roll, a spinach dish with prawn and a nut crust, Iberian sweet pork with sweet potato and another pork dish rolled with mushroom and prosciuto. We could have carried on eating more but couldn't manage any more. We washed the meal down with an excellent house red, Puerta Vieja, an excellent choice for a vino de la casa!.
The waiters had an excellent sense of humour and were very jolly. We will definitely be dining here again on our return. The cost of the 5 dishes, bottle of house red, a large beer, coffee and a complimentary "ron miel" was 45 euros. Bargain.

So after reading all the reviews all I can say is the restaurant is overrated. There wasn't a good atmosphere in the place and the food certainly wasn't as described by previous users.
