“Great Mexican food lovely service”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

This restaurant was so busy we had to go for a drink and return later. Was worth waiting for as the food and service were really good.
We had fajitas with beef, chicken and prawns and we really enjoyed them.
A very cosy and traditional feel to this place, so worth going to if you like Mexican.

“You don't have to like it hot”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

We have been visiting Puerto Del Carmen for several years and always walked past Emma's Cantina because my wife does not like spicy food. On our last trip in November we decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. The server was very helpful in explaining the menu and provided a free sample medium hot dip so that we could understand the hotness indicators on the menu. My wife ordered the chicken salad and really enjoyed it. I had a really great rack of ribs. Very nice range of sweets too. Great ice cold beer.
We went back again a few days later. Another enjoyable meal. We are visiting Puerto Del Carmen again in February and will certainly be dinning in Emma's several times.

“Still the best Mexican in PDC”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

A trip to PDC wouldn't be complete without a visit to Emmas for some great Mexican food and wonderful Margaritas. We have been coming to the island now for four years and find this restaurant is consistently good with fantastic food and great service.

“Best Mexican Ever!”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Visited this restaurant on my last visit to PDC in October 2013. Having read the reviews on here we were keen to try it. Took a little bit of seeking out as its way up the hill in the Old Town and way up past the Harbour. However, it was well worth the walk up! The staff explained the menu to us well so we didn't select anything too hot. I had the Chicken Fajitas and these were the best I've ever tasted. A hint of 'heat' but not too much for anyone not too accustomed to too much hot! Was absolutely delicious and my only regret was I didn't find this restaurant sooner into our week away as we would have gone back for a second visit. Will definitely be back the next time I visit PDC!

“Great Mexican food and friendly service”
Reviewed December 14, 2013 via mobile

One of our group of four is not a fan of anything hot so staff scored well when they explained clearly which dishes were spicy/hot/vhot. Attention to detail was very good, food excellent there is something on the menu for everyone. The place is very busy and I understand it has just reopened having changed ownership. We came here earlier this year the food was great then. It is still well worth a visit.
