Four hungry golfers on a Monday night when all else local was closed. Food not authentic Chinese, the elderly proprietor and wife probably Vietnamese judging by the decor. "Spring roll" was not what I expected, being cold and gelatinous and filled with salad, prawns and cold veg, but maybe I don't know the difference between Viet and Chinese spring rolls (the hot crispy ones are called nems). The main courses were OK but not special, served on cold lettuce with rice on the side, the piquant dish was far from chilli-hot. The wine was by the bottle no pichets but not too expensive. Passable but not exceptional.
