The museum is located in a fantastic location and is surrounded by lots of green areas where you may have a picnic. There is a fab playground. The museum in itself is very average. It is not very big and it seems quite expensive. When we went there was a baby dinosaur exhibition which was ok. You could pay one euro extra and have children over the age of 5 participate in a dinosaur club. We weren't really informed about this on purchasing out tickets so we missed the slot. The children enjoyed it. If you drive off to la playa de las griegos, you can see two real dinosaur footprints and even stand on them. It is free. The museum has a map with the location of the rest of footprint on the coast of Asturias, hence the name:the Jurassic coast.
