Stayed for 3D/2N at the bamboo cabana with my wife, 2 kids and a yaya. Things I loved about the place:
1. The people. You treat them like friends and they'll treat you like royalty. We got special tables near the beach, barako coffee after each meal, iced water on the sand, extra time on the kayak--all the little extras that make you feel special just because we took the time to say 'please' and 'thank you'.

2. Their attention to cleanliness. They have staff constantly combing the beach and making it look picture perfect. They even have people sweeping the water for trash whenever the tide brings in crap from the nearby public beach.

3. The food. They served some pretty good meals while we were there. Fresh seafood, chicken, pasta, beef. Eat all you can and more!

4. The 'no-tech' vacation. The cabanas have power, yes. But they don't have air conditioning, television, or wifi. You are gently reminded that you are in one of the most beautiful places on the planet and should be out on the water having fun, not wasting your morning watching cable or surfing the net. Their sunsets are awesome, by the way!

5. The beach. Virgin Beach has the longest, cleanest, and most beautiful strip of sand in Laiya. For some reason, they also have the most number of sea glass we have ever seen.

It is a good resort, trying to get the vibe of Bohol Beach Club, Pearl Farm, etc. Same price point, too. However, I'd say it is not as good as the other resorts for the price. Rooms were smaller, but the bathroom (in the aircon rooms) was quite big so that's a plus.

The non-aircon rooms are so overpriced! It is literally a hut. And for P5000 per night, it is way too much.

Food was mediocre, nothing special. I do remember the Bistek Tagalog being a bit too salty for my taste.

They also offer watersports (banana boat, flying fish) for about P500 for 15 minutes.

The resort was quiet and if you're looking for a place to just chill and relax with family (and you have quite a budget), this is not a bad place to burn your money.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms near the chapel (but make sure it is not near the common bathroom)

The place is just a few hours drive from Manila, so it's the perfect destination when you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great service, with excellent staff! You need not worry about anything when you go to Virgin Beach Resort. Just show up and they will take care of you.

Virgin Beach Resort is a full service, worry free and reasonably priced resort that can allow visitors to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila. It's worry free, hassle free service and you can just show up at the resort with your bathing suit, sunblock and wallet.

When we visited this resort luckily it was only few who checked-in that week, so we really enjoyed our stay for an exclusive family trip.. The food is really good matched with a very polite waiter who attends to all our needs and wants during our stay, our dinner was set up beside the shore under the sparkling limelights creating that romantic dinner atmosphere, the food served was really flavorful! My kids did enjoy it and the sand! Oooops this Bamboo cabana makes the best of our stay escaping the metro life, its like going back from the freshness and natural beauty of life, just simple but totally perfect for those seeking for relaxation and family bonding. We planned to go back there but unfortunately the agent who accompanied me is too lazy to respond to my inquiries and sya pa ang naiinis??? So we changed our plan and search for something new..

Good morning Miss Lynah! Thank you for sharing your review of Virgin Beach Resort.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the service and our concept of
keeping our surroundings as natural as possible.

I am concerned though, about the agent that accompanied you to the resort, I would
appreciate if you could clarify if this is a third party agent or one of VBR's reservations staff.
Our guests are very important to us and we always strive to improve our customer relations and I would like to address the concern accordingly. If this is not too much to ask, you may e-mail me at virginbeachresort.cs@gmail.com.

Thank you very much, I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Ging Campos
