It was September 2012 when we went there for my birthday celebration, it was very quiet, few people and the reception was very helpful and gave us discounts.
The beach was very clean that time, food was good. The daily mass at 11am is really nice for a resort. The food is not that expensive as well. We had fun even just a daytour. It was not expensive at all. My baby loved the playground with all the trikes, bikes, slides, swing...so cute!

Don't let the pictures fool you. The resort is not beautiful, and they have the worst service. Their employees don't anything about the resort. It's a very small resort and expensive, it's not worth a try. Don't bother coming here. The water is dirty and the food is nasty

The place, I was told, was beautiful before the 01 November 2012 destroyed it. White Cove is right beside a river that now is just a very small stream. But the "habagat" rain that poured in Batangas created a monstrous river that washed away its chapel and a large chunk of its beachfront.
The other result was the swollen river dumped silt in the sea causing the sea floor muddy. Its really a pity since the beach is a fine light brown sand. Almost as fine as the boracay sand but of different color.
We had to walk around 300 meters away from the river to enjoy the water and without the silt.
But what is deplorable is the poor sanitation and food choices. The food is so bad that we had to go and eat at the nearby resorts.

Room Tip: The place is the problem.

stop fooling people by your beautiful pictures in your website. your place was so disappointing. we don't travel from manila to laiya, san juan, batangas, just to see dirty water and dirty place like yours, laiya white cove. we're here last sunday, nov. 25, 2012. i was so ashamed to myself that I was the one who recommended it to our balikbayan's. I don't care if I'm just the one who complained and other's don't.

we had our most terrible Holiday in this Resort. It is miss managed and The room rate of PHP 7,000 does not compliments the service and room itself. We had separate bathrooms from our rooms. There is no housekeeping who clean the room and bathroom. You have to sweep the floor, clean your bathroom and ask for refill of toilet paper. (for 7K that is BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!) The bed is sofa bed with hard lines in between plus mattress in the floor.
During the meal time as they required to get PHP 950 per head full board meal, they serve B,R,D very late already and worst is nothing left for us. We always need to ask for additional. We drink morning coffee in s tyro cup!!!! I could cry from these horrible trip,! and there are more.

Room Tip: an hour from manila to ibaan taking slex. another and additional hour from ibaan to the resort.

I think the person who designed the rooms in the resort is not a beach person. Why? There is no place to hang wet clothes, there are no cabinets, etc. If you scrutinize the details of the room, you can see how poorly it was constructed. The restaurant and the wooden tables in the beach front are designed much better. But if you want to enjoy beer on the beach, you have to walk all the way to the bar to order. Such a bummer. Be wary of the guests of other resorts as they go in groups and "invade" the beach front ruining your view and tranquility.
