This place is like a little slice of heaven. There are 4-5 villas of sorts, primitive looking from the outside as all are made with local stone to blend into the landscape, but have all the modern conveniences inside (full kitchen with Nespresso machine, just like home!) and stunning views. I traveled with friends and we took the double floor villa which is basically 2 separate apartments. It is off the beaten track, though not too far from anywhere, as Serifos island is small. On site, you can swing on the hammock, watch yachts in the bay, do yoga on the patio, or wander/hike the cliffs and see what is behind the next cove. It is isolated, peaceful, and quiet. Except for when we left the property, we did not see or hear anyone else except a herder and his goats. Everything is artfully designed and well thought out, to make you feel at home. You will feel your cares melt away. Can you tell that I found it so comfortable, I am dreaming of returning and living there?
Practical matters: The place is self-catering, though I am sure they also could arrange breakfast or other meals for you on request. The site manager Adil met us at the ferry port and helped us with shopping/supplies then took us to the site. You will need a car or motorbike to reach the property from the port and to get around to explore the island. There are 2 small uncrowded beaches nearby (long hike or short drive). You can find more beaches and towns to explore by circumnavigating the island counterclockwise past the port.
