Lots to do for my 18 month old Grandchild, rides, soft play, park, small houses and so much more. A day can easily be spent here and if too cold for a picnic you can eat in
A lovely fun day out.

Visited during October half term with our 4 year old and 8 month old. Bought tickets online so was a little cheaper than on the gate prices. My eldest said this was the best day of our weeks holiday. It's aimed at younger children - I'd say up to 8 years. We went on all the rides with a max 5 min queue time. Our youngest even went on a few rides which was nice for her to be included. Everything is set out well and east to find. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 is because no buttons were working in the story village or the farm area - none at all!! Had someone forgotten to turn on the electricity in those areas?? I loved the sweet castle and the smells in there. My eldest still talks about the tooth puppet show! Only 1 main eating area open for food which was really busy. We Were lucky to get a table. The food was reasonable. We loved the Christmas ride which is running all year round. The gift shop was varied and very well priced. Would love to visit again if we come to the area on holiday in the future.

We’ve been to Sundown a few times as a family and it’s always a fab day out. Most recently we went for my daughters birthday treat. We have an 11,9 and very nearly 4 year old and they all enjoyed it. Family of 5 £75 which I feel is value for money given we were there all day. All the staff were friendly and helpful, cafe and toilets clean and tidy. A magical place, that we will definitely visit again.

Fantastic! Both children loved it and its so clean and organised. The play areas are great. Best day out in a while where both kids was equally entertained. The only thing ill say was dont eat there the food wasnt very nice at all. 4 chicken burgers purchased and they was rubbery and awful. Take a picnic next time!
Definately worth going and we booked online to save money which id too recommend

We visited on a Monday with my 2 year old. The park is massive and as other people have said you can easily spend a whole day here. The only regret is that we didn’t pay for an annual pass so we could come again! We got there at 12 and didn’t have to start queuing for rides until about 1:30 which I thought was really good to say how popular it is. Will be back for Christmas time!

We visited Sundown on Halloween with our 2 boys aged 18 months & 4. I used to go as a child when it was 'Pets Corner,' so it was a lovely trip down memory lane.
The park is a mixture of old and modern and there is plenty to do. We visited on a rainy day so didn't spend long in the play areas but they looked fab. My highlights were lollipop castle, (smells like sweets inside) the story book village which consists of little themed houses based on traditional fairytale books. The detail that has gone into each house and area is brilliant and it does feel a bit like you are in a film set. The ostrich ride and cars were also a big hit with our 4 year old.

The only thing that I would say that could be improved is the moving figures/statues could do with updating as their faces are a bit creepy. My youngest was scared of them at first, though he seemed to get used to them throughout the day as they are everywhere! There are 2 indoor play areas to choose from, we went to the larger/newer one which was brilliant and we were able to eat our picnic in there. Having visited other parks (cbeebies/thomas land) this is definitely my favourite. There is so much to do all aimed at younger children, and lots to capture their imagination. Even our 18 month old was able to go on most of the rides. Kids had a brilliant time and didn't want to leave. Bonus of it being halloween was that they handed out sweets on every ride, which was a nice touch. Will return in the summer when it warms up!

I feel that no matter what adults think of the place, the kids just love it. Don't ask us grown ups about it ask the kids. Took my little one yesterday at 10am and tears at 4pm when it closed. Says it all. Just another thing the staff are superb unlike the misrable ones a Wheelgate

nice place for kids but if it wasnt that expensive we would visit at least once or twice a month. or if the charge was only for a kid with free adult or a couple of pound an entry would be great

I remembered going to sundown as a child 15-20 years ago, and i recently took my niece and nephew - it was better than i remembered! There is so much for the kids to do. We spent nearly a whole day there and didn't even get around the whole park. The kids loved it and we will definitely be going back.
