Stayed here for four nights a few days ago. Even though staff found speaking in English difficult, we managed very well. Rooms were excellent; good bathrooms; air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Dining room and menu were superb for a hotel in a small community. Extremely good value for money. Easy to catch a bus to Alicante.

We had two rooms, both were very tired and lacking much in the way of facilities. Cleanliness was fine. Our bed was pretty uncomfortable and squeaked alarmingly under any movement. Air conditioning was either on or off and not really adequate. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful although we gave up trying to order breakfast and went elsewhere for it.

Paella was excellent in the restaurant and wine was good value.

We spent 3 nights here and certainly wouldn't call it a family friendly hotel, we booked for 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children we had 2 rooms which turned out to be on opposite sides of the hotel so my husband and grandchildren had the room on the front an myself and my daughter took the smaller room at the back, the front rooms are facing the road and above the restaurant and bar so are quite noisy till about midnight.
Rooms are basic and dated and although the cleaner came in daily the pictures speak for themselves as to the standard you can expect, I would have to agree with a previous review that described it as a hostel, it's a base if your travelling and that's it and at £50+ a night per room it's an expensive base.
