This restaurant is utterly incredible. It has the most beautiful setting across the mountains to the coast. You can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down with an exquisite glass of wine in your hand! I didn't book but arrived early and got a table however, if I were to go again I would book as it is very busy....and I was told the most popular restaurant in the area. It is truly incredible food. It is not super cheap but worth every penny! Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the area.

My husband and I were staying at La Dimora, and one afternoon we decided to see the view from the hill town above. So we drove up to Oletta and began a hike on a windy, cool day. It is a small town and it was quiet and virtually deserted. As we walked down the road, we saw a restaurant, which appeared to be closed. I walked over to look at the menu and saw that it was open and many people were eating lunch there. So we entered and were "wowed" by the restaurant. The first thing that struck us was the view from the wrap around huge windows. If the weather had been better, and the terrace open for dining, it would have been magnificent. We were also pleased with the staff. They were attentive, kind, and courteous and spoke wonderful English, something we didn't always find in Corsican restaurants. Our waitress had spent a year in Australia as well as traveling to other countries and her English was impeccable. The owner also greeted us and was very welcoming. Then there was the food.... it was as good as any gourmet restaurant we've ever been to. It was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The prices were moderate, considering the quality of the cuisine. The whole experience was so wonderful, we went back for dinner the next night and were just as pleased. I would highly recommend Auberge A Magina and would love to go back someday.
