We were three weary travellers when we arrived at De Oude Huize, having been on an overnight flight from England. We were warmly greeted by Hennie and Sandra, a bottle of chilled white wine was produced for us, which was gratefully received.
The Oude Huize is like no other place we have stayed. It is filled with interesting antiques and around every corner there is a surprise. Very comfortable beds, pillows and rooms.
Sandra's food is fantastic and the tables are laid with a different theme for dinner and breakfast - old LP's for placemats at breakfast for instance.
Hennie's tour in his old Chevrolet is very interesting.
Cannot recommend this B&B enough, it is a must if you want to break your journey. Would love to think we might visit again sometime.
