Great food, clean, tidy, we'll thought out der. We had lunch there a week go. What a great place. Fish was fresh as it comes. If you are stopping in Gore don't miss it.

“A touch of class in Gore”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We recently dined here for lunch. It was the first time myself and my partner had been here and we were instantly impressed with the restaurants decor. It was nice to find a classy establishment to dine in in Gore. The menu was very good and the service was quick and efficient. We found the wait time to be the one thing that let our experience down. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty and we arrived just before the lunchtime rush. We would usually expect to be able to comfortably have lunch ordered, eaten and paid for during the week within the hour of our lunch break but this was not the case and the others we were with had noted the wait time on previous visits. Would definatley dine here again but be wary if you have time constraints.

“Great place to stop”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

We were traveling to Te Anau from Dunedin. Getting a good coffee, mid trip, can be a challenge in Gore.
We were referred to Thomas Green and were pleasantly surprised. Coffee was great and we stayed for lunch. The fettuccine with chorizo was excellent.
Staff were friendly and the decor is first class. We would definitely go back.

“Never Again......”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

My wife and I had the rib eye steak, well cooked as per instruction. From then on down hill. They do not serve Speights which is basicly a localy produced refreshment. Their cider or Heiniken is excessive in cost. Mushrooms, tomatoes on the menue in my take indicates in the plural meaning more than one. Not so for Mr Green, for us one of each..... We shall never return and will tell our friends of our experience.

“Wonderful dining experience”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

I had dinner here on Saturday night with 3 friends. The decor is amazing and the staff who seated and served us were all excellent. Attentive without being in your face, friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. I had the rib eye steak which was cooked exactly as I requested and served with delicious accompaniments. The creme brûlée was to die for. Wonderful to see such a top class restaurant in Gore. Well worth a trip to dine here.
