If you're looking for a cheap way of seeing the petite camargue look no further than this campsite. It is not favoured by the Brits so the chances of running into a fat beer swilling lout are much reduced. We have stayed on the site twice, September 2012 and June 2013. It's a large site with vacancies for tents, caravans and offers 'chalet' accomodation, all located in attractive wooded sandy area. If you want a chalet for two people then go for the 'Tonga' chalet.
There is a large aquatic park but this is really for kids/teenagers. It has water slides, trampolines etc - but no dedicated swimming area for the serious swimmer. However the site has immediate access the very large beach area (miles of sandy beach). Great for kite surfing etc. There are good bike routes around the area. You can easily cycle into Grau du Roi (attractive fishing port) along dedicated cycle tracks. The site is noisy when the French arrive 'en-masse' (French holidays start end of June). So, unless you have kids and like a noisy site, don't stay there between the end of June and beginning of September.
