This is the time to visit. Based on deals being offered to local residents used this opportunity to book a 2 night stay. Booked a hideaway villa and was upgraded to ocean view villa.Right from the initial enquiry the communication was clear and concise.
We booked our own transfers and was well coordinated by the resort on pick up and drop off at the pier.
The views are best i have come across any hotel stay around the world. The staff are extremely hospitable. The rooms are spotless and the facilities like buggy transfer, spa are of the highest standard.
The hilltop area is amazing at sunrise and sunset with the pool in the middle. The menu options were limited due to covid.
Had a great time photographing birds specially the hornbills all around
One of the most memorable stays. A big thanks to all the team at six senses yao noi

Three nights with great friends in this wonderful eco resort. Spectacular accommodation, iconic views, genuine warm service and outstanding food. There is a reason its regarded as one of Thailands leading resorts. Make use of this time and visit now is my advice to other fortunate Thai residents.

Koh Yao Noi is not really on the too well-trodden tourist path in Thailand, even though the island lies right between Phuket and Krabi. Still when you are on the island itself you feel much further away. It is amazing to find such a high end resort like the Sixth Senses in such a rural backwater. The resort is build into a dense forest covering hills overlooking the ocean, with its scores of wild limestone islands. It is a magical setting. We stayed in villa 39 which arguably has the best view the resort has to offer. Sunrises here, which you can enjoy lying on your bed are spectacular. The villa itself is large but actually quite a simple wooden structure. Very cozy. I loved the sunken bathtub with with the ocean view and the small infinity pool is not bad either. We were pretty lazy, so we did not explore the whole resort, but we did visit the gym, which is very good and we spend time at the Hilltop, with its spectacular view and its beautiful pool. Khun Chu who works at the restaurant there took very good care of us here at every single meal. The menu though we found pretty limited (this might be due to Corona and its impact on guest numbers), so we were happy to make an excursion to a local and very delicious sea food restaurant, recommended by the hotel (it is called Pradu - and is about 30 min by car from the resort). We really had a very good stay, but we think service was a bit lacking at times. We ordered in-room breakfast, which wasn't cleared up all day. WE had to ask for a buggy to go the gym multiple times, little things like that. The phone in our room did not work and even though we told staff about that, nothing was done about it. All this is not serious and could easily be remedied. Overall it is the hidden location and the beautiful nature which will have you wanting to come back. A little slice of heaven.
