AMAZING PLACE Our favourite of the six senses we have visited
Just spent 10 nights here and could have stayed longer.
We used the hotel limo transfer from Phuket airport to their jetty then speedboat to the island which was seamless and gives a great view of the ‘forest of islands’
The resort is beautiful, quiet, secluded, you could imagine there are no other guests there when in your villa.
We had a hideaway villa which was amazingly spacious, and well equipped.
All staff from arrival to departure, management, hosts, restaurant staff, fitness, beach, buggy drivers, gardeners are so genuinely friendly, helpful and courteous that the whole experience was a pleasure. You are assigned to a GEM (general experience manager) who checks with you every day, and organises restaurant and experience bookings, time you want ice delivered to the room etc.
The food in all restaurants was superb, breakfast probably the best we’ve ever had, and served until 11am which lets you do the gym etc before without rushing.
There is complimentary yoga at 8am everyday in an open air pavilion, an extremely well equipped gym. Private lessons in various aspects of yoga and fitness available and a lovely spa.
Activities include kayaking, long boat trips around the forest of islands and ‘James Bond Island’, tuk tuk island tours, cycling tours ( also complimentary use of bikes for you to self guide)
There are 2 beaches, a roped off section for swimming which felt safe although there was a day with jellyfish which we were warned about. As all villas have a private pool there is only one communal pool, at the Hilltop, with a gorgeous infinity pool and stunning views of the surrounding islands. If I was being really picky then my only suggestion for improvement would be to make this adults only.
I could go on but basically, we will definitely return, recommend it wholeheartedly.
Regardless of facilities, staff can make or break a resort and I can honestly say that every member was amazing, special thanks to Alicia (hope you’re still married after Lindt gate!), and Walter (we love Switzerland really!)
