We are drawn back here every year as it just gets better and better, all credit to the charming General Manager, Graham Grant, and the amusing and highly capable Executive Chef, Walter Butti, the food has got so good that we never ate off-site once this time. Our GEM Natty looked after us superbly, nothing was too much trouble, and we loved meeting the new resort manager, Alicia, who was an absolute delight. All the staff members were absolutely charming and seemed genuinely delighted to see us again, in no time they knew exactly what we wanted for breakfast better than we did, and knew that we had to start with the delicious prawn and pomelo salad at dinner. There can be no more wonderful dining experience than the Valentine's night dinner at the Hilltop Reserve, guaranteed to rejuvenate even the most jaded of marriages, which ours isn't! The bike team were lovely and went out to rescue my wife when she had a punctured tyre halfway round the island. The buggy drivers and the spa staff were helpful and looked after us well. We loved the family of hornbills in the nesting box just behind our villa and the occasional visits that one made to the garden. All in all, every day was wonderful, relaxing and special, and guest chef Jesper Koch's dinner was exceptional, one of the finest that we have enjoyed anywhere, with every dish described by his young son. In Arnie's immortal words, "Ve vill be back."

Beautiful hotel in a truly spectacular location. Service culture a real differentiator - everyone appeared genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. Food is excellent- choices at breakfast almost overwhelming which is great as it is my favourite meal.
This was our first visit to Phuket and the only spoiler was the 90m queue for immigration on entry. Made Miami look good. Woefully understaffed. Luggage in big a heap with flight number off the board by the time we got through and took another 15m to find our cases. Shame as we visited Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia on this trip and immigration/customs experience super efficient.
Would definitely visit a Six Senses resort again but for this reason alone would think twice about Phuket- life’s too short !

Room tip: they are all good. Take whatever you are offered!

Normally didn't write a review but I'll feel very bad this time If I'm not doing so.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids age 4 and 1) from Bangkok who love to wandering to Southern part of Thailand at this time of year. I've known Six Sense Yao Noi for a long time but used to think this is not a type of place for kids (no kids club, speed boat required, no waterpark etc.) However, this time I decided to take a chance and; thankfully, it turned out to be one of the best decision ever.

First off, my primary goal here is seriously for the view. As a result, we chose to stay in The ocean panorama room. As we came in it's just wow, a stunning row of limestones lying in front of you with no barricades. Not enough, we decided to do the sunrise breakfast at Hilltop Reserve on the following day. The view there is admittedly more impressed. With this reservation, it's only you and your family who can use the facility until 10:30 in the morning. Your kids can run around, kick their feet in the water, and so on. Landscape photographers will surely love this offer.

Second is a top-notch service. A first-class level in every bit of details right from the airport to the marina and to the hotel. They really did a homework on every guests and attempt to fulfill their requests. Specifically we have to thank you our GEM (K.Tik) for handling every piece of magic. Flexibility is key especially when you deal with family with kids and she truly deserves such a compliment. She went beyond expectation by providing us a full box of medical mask for using back here in Bangkok.

Third is all about kids. I have to admit that this is what exceeded my expectation the most. From the airport to the marina they did provide a car-seat in a van. And from the marina to the hotel mini life jackets were provided as well. Kids were so comfy on the speedboat and felt very safe. At the resort kids really enjoyed a plunge pool, playing sand on a beach, collecting eggs at chicken farm, and sampling all-day ice cream. Furthermore, they did offer kids-eat-free menu which parents like us couldn't ask for more.

Last but not least, the activities. As I'm a kind of person who not really like to sit back in a room all day, I need some fun stuffs and this place can totally offers you. First, the Mangrove walk - A mini trail that can lead you to another beach and secret viewpoint. Second, Kayaking - their water sport center is full of equipment and there is also a game room there for children during wait time. Last, we also did a Speed boat tour to Pa Koh and Laem Haad Beach which are very beautiful and close to the resort. A tour is very customized and flexible in what we need. Boat staffs are very friendly and play with my kids along the way. My daughter laughed out loud while they pretended to be baby sharks attacking her. Thumbs up for this.

After staying at this property, we really feel reluctant to visit somewhere else in Thailand because we're so afraid that we might never feel so blessed at this level again. Thank you for giving us the warmhearted feeling here at this paradise.

Room tip: Go with Ocean Panorama for the stunning view

Hardly ever write reviews but I felt compelled to after our incredible stay at Six Senses Yao Noi. After being met directly at the airport by Six Senses staff, we were driven to their marina in a resort van (equipped with WiFi and complimentary water). At the marina we met more Six Senses staff who were generous, accommodating and incredibly friendly. This is a theme that you'll find with every single staff member that you meet at the Six Senses, from the resort manager (thank you Alicia) to our GEM (thank you Ma) to the groundkeepers, wait staff and everyone else - we were always treated with incredible positivity and generosity. Everybody went out of their way to make us feel at home.

We booked through the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program, and were upgraded to "The View" villa. This villa is fantastic beyond belief. There's a huge bed looking out over the beautiful sea, with both wonderful sunrise (direct) and sunset (reflection on the limestone pillars) vistas. We also got our own private infinity pool, netted bed, bar, huge bathroom, along with a variety of other really amazing touches including a waterfall and a theater room.

The grounds are pristine, with a really convenient buggy service and a variety of restaurants serving up fantastic meals. From Western to European to Indian, everything was delicious. We didn't take any excursions but we didn't need to, we had our own little piece of paradise right in our villa.

Many thanks to the staff of Six Senses Yao Noi, we can't wait to return!
