A very nice place especially for honeymooners. Isolated area for some peace of mind. Pool was great. Very nice scenery.

My wife and I stayed here in August 2011, everybody was very friendly, the bungalow really nice and the beach the best one on the island. A very nice touch was the cocktail evening and the free massage as it was low season.

We would be back anytime :)

Room Tip: rooms to the very left of the beach are the best I think as this is the best part of the beach.

A gorgeous resort! Love the 'no wall' huts with the outdoor bathroom (and an indoor one). Staff come around every afternoon to light mosquito coils and turn down the bed which is great - they're lovely. The views are magnificent and the place is just so relaxing. If you're feeling energetic you can cycle around the island over a couple of hours (only two hills) and see the market and eat at out of the way bamboo shack restaurants where seafood could not be any fresher. Or you can canoe up and dwn the coast. Next door is the Six Senses resort (very plush!) and you can book a place there for dinner too. Great moonrise!

Restaurant Tip : The restaurant is very good but not great. Better off spending £100 for two at Six Senses or better still, £10 at a local place that is so cute: just turn left out of the resort, take a torch and walk 5 minutes. You'll see the Cha Bar or the Paramour Bar. Great cocktails and even better meals. Music too; great vibe.

The resort was everything we hoped it would be and was the perfect tonic to daily stress. It was an ideal getaway as it was so quiet and peaceful. The views are stunning and the resort is perfectly placed to take trips around the bay to see other beautiful spots.
We took the private transfer which was expensive but worth it.
The room was very good. I was worried about the open air aspect before we arrived even though I am a seasoned traveller but it was absolutely fine. There is plenty of privacy and we felt very safe and secure. Wildlife was not a problem once we had both jumped once at the frog in the shower! The living space is very nice and we were impressed with the rooms and vistas.
The staff went out of their way to welcome us without being too fussy. A very good balance between being warm and being over the top, very nice. Service was sometimes a little slow but it was low season and it was nice to feel a relaxed pace. The spa was excellent. Both staff were very good and I felt very relaxed and at ease there. Food was very tasty and we ate at the hotel every night of our 7 day stay. I wonder if a daily special might spice things up a bit but what was on offer was very good. The cocktail evening was really beautiful, with a bar set up on a deck over the beach- very serene and relaxing.
We took a half day trip which was lovely- private long tail boat and guide. Very nice to get away from the crowds and have personal service.
A very lovely week here for us, we were very happy and would certainly stay again if we are in the area.

This resort is a must for anyone looking to stay in a stunning location. The rooms (we stayed in the residence villas) are very clean and spacious offering excellent views out to sea. The staff are really attentive and very friendly. Even though it rained for 2 days, its was great place to relax and unwind. Good range of food at the hotel, all of a high quality. Its hard to find fault with the resort , if you are going to an island off Phuket, go here!
ps - try the nearby stonebaked pizza place about 200/300 yards up the road from the hotel and the bar just outside the hotel entrance - both good.
