We spent almost a week in this fabulous place on Ko Yao Noi. The bunglaow was spotless, we got clean towels every other day, the room was cleaned daily. Food in the restaurant was more than decent and very affordable. Friendly lady and her mother speak reasonable English. In short -- a great place to relax

I initially booked for 3 days but extended to 6 but to be honest, I didn't want to leave. The room was extremely clean and spacious with a great bathroom, having both a hot water and cold water shower.

The bed was super comfy, there was a fridge and two small bottles of water were provided every day, the vista from the room was amazing, over looking the beach and sea.

The resort is ideally placed to explore the island and the food on offer ranks highly in both authenticity and taste, certainly amongst the best I've had in Thailand and I've travelled for several months across the country. It's also very reasonably priced and portion sizes are on the big side.

I paid 1800 baht for an AC room, fan was 1200 baht. AC was the right choice in March for me and although there were intermittent power cuts, it was still worth it.

As I stayed for three nights, they included free motorcycle rental in the price (normally 300 baht a day). I've been riding bikes for many years but unlike Phuket or other busy places in Thailand, the roads are so quiet that it's reasonably safe for a complete novice to ride.

They have lots of both fully automatic and semiautomatic bikes and all are new and well maintained. If you want more physical exertion, there are several front suspension mountain bikes too, again in great condition, companies in Phuket actually offer tours here as its such a nice place to cycle.

The staff were extremely nice (mother and daughter) and I also recommend visiting the Pizza place on Saturday night for live music plus Kayu for some equally good Thai food.

We stayed six nights in an AC bungalow (1800 baht per night). The bungalow was clean, spacious with good AC, a fridge and a view of the sea & beautiful karst scenery. The lady who runs the resort is really helpful and friendly, and the food was among the best Thai food we'd had (having spent several months in Thailand, this is high praise indeed). You'll need a scooter to get around, but it's very safe on Koh Yao Noi, and currently if you stay 3 nights or more, the resort provides you with a scooter as part of the room price. Highly recommended for a friendly, relaxing stay on this beautiful island.

We arrived at Suntisook in real need of some r & r. We stayed for 2 weeks & didn't want to leave. Were very well looked after by the lovely family. The best home cooked food on the island try the fish in garlic & pepper, chicken wings, papaya salad & my favourite the curry galangal coconut soup with prawn. You won't be disappointed. Close to yoga centre, rock climbing, small private beaches. Our highlight was just (all 3 of us) riding around the island by scooter. Roads v good condition & not much traffic. All in all a perfect stay. We will definitely be back to Suntisook!

I just got back home from my amazingly wonderful stay on Ko Yao Noi this past week. The island itself was just what we were looking for, relaxed and idyllic! The main reason for our wonderful time was the wonderful family run resort: Suntisook! The photos don't do it justice! It's extremely affordable for what you get, the owners are very accommodating and have perpetual smiles on their faces. They gave upgraded us to a bigger bungalow upon arrival for no charge and allowed us to use all their additional amenities that you don't get at other budget friendly places without ripping us off! Hot water showers, big beds, your own porch overlooking the ocean with hammocks. As with any bungalow non 5 start resort you'll see wildlife out and about but nothing you can't deal with and it truly is clean and comfy! The food in their restaurant was so delicious and we ate at least one meal a day there-- always satisfied. Any question or problem we had they immediately attended to. I've stayed at much pricier places that couldn't hold a candle to Suntisook! If you're an easy going traveler who appreciates a good deal, this is the place for you! It's a great location close to the pier in the northeast of the island, but the island is small enough it's very easy to get to and everyone seemed to know the place.

If you are looking for a peaceful bungalow accommodation with a friendly service, excellent food and amazing seaview (at least from our bungalow), then this family run resort is your choice. They also rent scooters (which are handy to explore the island) and kayaks. Still missing those evenings lying on hammock, sipping beer and listening jungle to awake to the night.
