We stayed at Ocean Sports Resort for 5 nights in October 2013 and we had the most wonderful time. My 12 year old son loved the on-site diving option (he completed his advanced PADI there and it was a super experience; very professional) and my daughter loved the swimming pool. The rocky pools on the beach are second to none - we found moray eels, puffer fish and all kinds of wonderful things residing in them. We were looked after fabulously by the owners and the staff and the food was really wonderful - the best tuna sashimi that I have ever tasted. We have stayed at a couple of other places on the coast since and have not found a better place yet for value for money. Ok, so maybe the place might need updating at some point but the rooms were comfortable, the air conditioning works (at least they have ac unlike some other places), there are fresh water showering facilities (I have learned not to take this for granted on the Kenyan coast) and for the money we paid, it really was so worth the trip!
