At Mvuvi we really felt in paradise! it's a really nice, simple, quite and cosy. The maid/cook Celina is really lovely and really helpful. Justin, the owner, was not phisiaccaly present but he really took care of our needs. We will come back soon I hope.

“Home in Watamu”
Reviewed May 3, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

It was a pleasure staying at Mvuvi. I was in Watamu for a diving holiday. Justin is an excellent host and made me feel very welcome. The bungalows and sitting area are very comfortable. It felt like home away from home.

“Great place, great people best beach for miles around 5 minutes away.”
Reviewed March 17, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Mvuvi is a lovely place to stay run by Justin who is the nicest guy.All the staff are are very helpful and friendly.
There are 3 chalets and a living/dining room next to the kitchen. It is run as a bed and breakfast. It has a big garden with all the tropical colours you would expect and the place is right behind Ocean Sports which definitely has one of the best views ever of this amazing coast. The beach is to die for and 5 minutes away.
There is lots to do here including diving,snorkelling,kite/wind surfing and deep sea fishing. You can also do a safari from here into Tsavo national park which I highly recommend. It is about a 15 minute walk into town along the beach or 5 minutes on a motorbike or took took.
The rooms are big and have a fan and hot water. You also get a nice verandah.
All in all a fantastic place with very nice people looking after you.

Reviewed March 10, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Mvuvi is a small pearl in the breathtaking scenario of Watamu.Really nice African style cottages ,with comfortable bed and big bathroom;surrounded by a luxurious green where you can really relax.Just 100 meters from a quite paradise beach and few minutes walking from the village of Watamu. The owner,Justin,is always available for any request and the staff is really kind and welcoming, special mention to Celine that is an amazing cook, especially with the fish!.The place is perfect either for a romantic stay as either for a family trip.I live in Nairobi and it was amazing enjoy the real african hospitality.Really worth for money.Highly recommended.

“Close to beach, clean, great service”

We enjoyed our stay at Mvuvi. There is a kitchen with plenty of utensils and a BBQ. The lady who did cleaning and cooking was very pleasant, as was the security guard. It's a good deal, being a five minute walk from the best dive centre in Watamu. It's best to go in season though... When we were there the sand had been washed away and there was a lot of seeweed on the beach. Still, we enjoyed a dive and swimming in rock pools. I'd love to stay at Mvuvi again in season.
