This hotel is just outside the walled town of Tuscania, Lazio.
From the hotel it is a five minute walk to a gate in the wall and the main street of the town.
The hotel is modern and comfortable. The rooms are nice and were very clean.
The staff friendly and spoke enough English that if you have no Italian, you will still be fine.
The price or value ratio was very good.
The breakfast was more than adequate.
We stayed for three nights and had a car that allowed us to travel to Tarquinia to see the Etruscan sites and the lovely small towns in southern Tuscany. The agriculturally rich surrounding countryside is lovely.
Some of the hotel rooms have views of the town walls and the nearby ancient churches. If room 202 is available, the views are fine and the balcony lovely. The road below is quiet at night. You could really not ask for more from a small town hotel in Italy except perhaps that it be in the city. Here, the walk is so short that the location is fine.
