Pumpkin soup to start - just heavenly. We didn't see many main course options that really tempted us. My husband had a steak which he enjoyed. I had the risotto which was quite good. There was no worthwhile chocolate dish on the dessert menu.
As I listened to other people ordering, it seemed that they "had just run out of" many options on the menu.
We made a reservation two weeks in advance yet ended up right in the drafty doorway. Our table was so close to the one behind us I couldn't move without disturbing the man behind me. Other people came with no reservations and did wait a little, but ended up at a much better table than ours.
I'm glad we tried Pane Vino, but being from Peterborough, I think we have many much better options closer to home.
