“Nice and near to casino”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Went there with a friend and the stay was great. The room is spacious and come with a safe to keep our valuable belongings. On top of that, the hotel is very near to casino and also there's a coffee bean at the lobby which is great for coffee lovers. Went to the restaurant Coffee Terrace for buffet lunch and kinda disappointed with the variety of food available in the restaurant.

8 Sept. Currently staying in this hotel for the last day of my tour and felt really pissed. Today then we knew that we are given a smoking floor when we emphasized 2 times upon check-in that we need a non-smoking room when we have 2 young children. There happens to be 2 chain smokers who
smoke non stop at the corridor and we are forced to inhale the smoke. When we call the reception, they offer to change room but it is now 10pm, unless they help to shift all our stuff down.We have 3 rooms here and I think also due to the reception's fault and stupidity, my mom and uncle keep being locked out after daily checkout timing. I ought to have our health checked after this stay and bill the damage to the hotel.

A very unique experience. Much different from other hotels. It is something one must experience once in a lifetime. It is a lively place 24 hours a day. It has a fantastic view and the surroundings are fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Stayed 2 nights at the resort hotel. Room size is ok and the room is clean. Not as crowded as 1st World Plaza and Genting Highland. The room does not have aircon but it is not a necessity to have one as it is cooling in Genting.
The only problem I have is there is no clear TV english movie channels programms. It might be due to poor reception.

Tips:
Recommended to buy breakfast voucher from the reception. It is cheaper. For cheaper local food, take the lift to B5. There is a canteen and the food is reasonable ok and price is cheapest that I found in Genting.

Genting is a place to have fun and not crib about the place you are living, so much so when you are staying for a day or two. You become so tired after having endless fun that you dont bother about how the place is. Obv the hotel is decent and clean if not 5 stars. Best thing is its next door to theme park, you can literally walk into the park from the hotel. You can shop, you can enjoy coffee at starbucks and other famous joints ..so many rides and shows within the hotel floors which are magnificent. Awesome experience but yes hotel is just average but again its clean, fully operational and fun place..

Room Tip: take rooms overlooking the theme park, its so damn beautiful

I was given a two-night free stay last month upon being upgraded to silver card membership. This is the first time I've stayed at the Resort Hotel deluxe room (there's only one type of rooms) after having stayed at the Awana for many years and the First World Hotel for the past few years. For slightly over a year on and off I was given 2 nights' free stay in a deluxe room at the First World Hotel (the first time it was in a standard room and it was horribly small). The deluxe room at the First World was fine but the room at the Resort is so much better.

I was lucky to be given a newly refurbished room with two super single beds. The bedding was almost luxurious. Best of all, there was a proper cupboard for hanging our clothes compared to the deluxe room at the First World where the clothes are hung in the open.

The room was large enough so I did not feel claustrophobic like I did in the standard room at the First World Hotel. Since I had my mobile modem I could access the internet in my room and the connection was very good.

Besides the bed,I like the showers very much, both the hand-held shower and the rain-shower. I look forward to my next stay and might try out the First World's superior deluxe room for which I am now entitled so that I can make a comparison with the Resort Hotel which I have no doubt will be better but trying out the superior deluxe room at the First World should be a fun experience.

Room Tip: I did not ask but was lucky to be given a newly-refurbished room.

Stayed 2 nights at resort hotel. Hotel is about 10 mins walking distance from shops at 1st World Plaza. Room was clean and amenities were provided. Safe provided. There's a starbucks and convenience store in the hotel. Wifi at lobby only. Kids corner at lobby showing cartoons during certain time. Service was ok. Requested daily newspaper but didn't receive it. Not many channels to watch on tv. Gd enough for a short stay.
